Insurance Team Leader - Leeds
6month FTC - Full Time (37.5hrs per week)
Rate/Salary: ÂŁUp to ÂŁ50,000 per annum.

A specialist Insurance Company are looking for a Team Leader to join their established and growing team in central Leeds, not far from the Train Station. This is a unique opportunity where you will have the best of both worlds from supervising the team whilst also overseeing the portfolio to deliver the company's strategy and performance.
The key area for this position will be managing the Underwriting team where they cover several products across commercial lines, so we are ideally looking for someone that has previous experience of supervising a team and with insurance experience however this is not mandatory. The underwriting team is split into two so you will be managing a team of 11 underwriters with a vast amount of experience. You will not need to have the technical underwriting knowledge as the team have Seniors that are able to deal with the complex referrals.
One of the main responsibilities in this role will be using your management skills to lead, motivate and drive the performance of individuals to work as a highly performing team as well as lead by example. We are really looking for someone that enjoys managing a team and takes pride in developing not only the individuals but has ideas to improve the overall business.
