35 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, full time position The School is seeking to appoint a Head of Finance to lead our forward thinking and hardworking Finance Team. This successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the School, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
The Head of Finance is responsible for the financial management of St John’s School Foundation and its trading subsidiary, St John’s (Leatherhead) Enterprises Limited. The postholder also takes responsibility for implementing and developing the School’s financial processes and for day-to-day financial matters. An accounting qualification is essential, as is high level knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and Management Information Systems. We are looking for someone with good leadership skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with both parents and staff. Due to the sensitive nature of this role, we regret that we are unable to accept applications from parents of pupils at the School.
