What will you be doing?

Northamptonshire Children’s Trust Young People’s Service offers support to young people and their families when there are complex support needs. We often work with young people who are being exploited and go missing, those with high levels of conflict in their lives, who show signs of trauma, such as anger, emotional dysregulation, self harm, and struggles to engage with others (us and school for example). We offer support to address risks in and out of the family home. Part of our work is completing Return Home Interviews with any young person who has been missing in the county. This means we work with young people, families and other professionals to reduce the risks of them going missing again.

About you

You will be providing a county wide service so you would need to be able to travel effectively across county and would be based in one of our children's centres closest to your home address.

You are an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

You're able to work flexibly with families and advocate on behalf of children, young people and vulnerable adults

You hold a Level 3 qualification in working with children, young people vulnerable adults and their families or have substantial professional experience in this area

You have experience of direct work with families with multiple problems and with families who find it difficult to engage with services.

The University of Brighton Academies Trust is seeking a qualified, skilled and professional Safety and Compliance Manager to promote, develop and establish a positive safety culture within its professional services teams and academies to meet its legal requirements in terms of Health, Safety and Compliance. The Emergency Duty team runs an out-of-hours service, responding to statutory emergencies and other social work matters within the childcare and adult arenas.

The positions within the team are principal social worker roles. This is on a rota basis, and you will provide an emergency statutory social work duty service out-of-hours with minimal supervision. The ability to work autonomously is therefore paramount.

You will provide guidance and support to sessional and unqualified staff. What will you be doing?

In a rewarding, diverse but complex environment, the team deals with a range of cases from child protection to mental health assessments, and decisions that need to be made in the context of each individual case to achieve optimum outcomes. You will need to evidence having the AMHP award; warranting can be arranged for any candidate able to demonstrate statutory requirements for continued approval to practice as an AMHP.

You will be supported by an on-call Service Manager on each shift, and you will have regular formal and informal supervision by the team manager. The team hold monthly team meetings and have a team training profile that supports your professional development. The Northamptonshire Emergency Duty Team has received consistent positive comments in recent OFSTED Inspections, and we would welcome any worker who shares the team ethos to provide the right amount of help and support at the right time, to those most in need.

Northamptonshire’s children’s service delivers their service via a TRUST and the EDT is currently undergoing a review focussing on the delivery of adult services including the AMHP role. Manager, Banking Customer Service lead our Banking Customer Service Officers, specifically in transactional operations and sales driving for the enhancement of current and potential client relationships.  Lead the team to help clients with their day-to-day banking needs while become the source of information for where clients’ money is going and what it is doing. 
 

Day-to-day activities

Sales coaching. MANDATE

The role is responsible for providing national leadership and delivery of group RSP sales and sales support, primarily through the P&C channel.  The position assists GAM’s P&C channel distribution teams in managing group RSP prospects, sales and on boarding. The role is accountable for ongoing sales effectiveness of GAM’s group RSP initiatives. The VP, Group Investment Sales will develop and manage senior relationships within the personal branch network and the business banking segment to drive awareness and group sales.

A.  Business Development

• Provide ongoing sales support to GAM’s retail distribution teams (Regional Sales Managers and Internal sales Representatives)
• Provide product specific training and support to the P&C sales forces (Financial Planners, Financial Services Managers and Commercial Relationship Managers) to build an understanding and confidence in the group offer
• Act as the point person representing GAM at national and local market events to raise the profile of GAM’s group product
• Identify gaps, issues, and best practices by monitoring group sales and service activity levels against national and divisional plans
• Foster a sales culture of goal achievement and superior customer satisfaction via  quality interactions with the GAM distribution teams, the P&C salesforces and group RSP prospects

B.  Relationship Management

• Create and manage senior relationships in the P&C channel to ensure a high level of GAM group RSP awareness
• Co-ordinates group RSP awareness and activity with leadership at BMO Wealth partners (NB,  IVL, LA and PB)
• Build and maintain industry relationships to elevate the awareness of GAM’s group offer and a better understanding of the competitive environment
• Work with GAM’s product, sales support and strategy teams to ensure all sales tools, training materials are leading edge

C.  Planning

• Prepare/update and implement annual national business plan
• In partnership with the sales strategy team, continually review and refresh the go to market strategy and customer positioning for the group RSP product
• Provide recommendations on marketing campaigns, advertising, sponsorships, external partnerships etc.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures by identifying potential service gaps and providing input and recommendations on product enhancements
• Understand and assess ongoing opportunities for national and regional sales programs
• Develop and organize travel plans and manage an assigned national budget, including the integration of reward and recognition items for best practice sales and behaviors among  sales staff
