An established firm based in Stockport is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their growing team. This firm provides expert accountancy and business advice services to a range of clients across the North West. Your new role
As Credit Controller, you will be joining an experienced team of credit controllers, assisting partners and managers in the collection of debts, assisting to process accounting data, whilst ensuring clients receive a prompt and efficient service. You will maintain communication records, ensure ledgers are organised and maintained and also process receipts using Sage software. You will also be responsible for negotiating, setting up and monitoring payment plans, weekly meetings with directors to provide updates and also monthly meeting with financial controllers to review progress and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
This ideal candidate for this credit controller role will have business to business credit control experience. Experience with Sage, Excel, Word and Outlook will be essential. You will need excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively. Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills will make you a great candidate for this position.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary of £22,000 - £26,000, dependent on experience. As well a competitive firm wide benefits package including holidays, and pension contributions.
