A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician to join our expanding and friendly pharmacy department on a 2-year fixed term training post. Learn while you earn!

As a Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician apprentice, you will undertake an approved Level 3 or level 4 qualification (dependant on knowledge provider). As the programme is delivered as an apprenticeship, you will be expected to spend time in the workplace and 20% off the job learning. This usually means one day a week for study and workplace training for the remaining 4 days a week learning professional knowledge, skills and completing required competencies.

On successful completion of this 2-year training programme you will be eligible to register with the pharmacy professional body, the General Pharmaceutical Council, and become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Work based training will involve working alongside all different members of the pharmacy team to gain knowledge, skills and experience into the core areas of pharmacy practice, as well as the wider working of the KCHFT pharmacy team.

Working in the Clinical Coding department at North Bristol NHS Trust provides a job with great career progression and the chance to work in a busy acute hospital. Our team of coders complete coding of approximately 147,000 daycase/inpatient visits each year, spread across a variety of complex specialties including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, geriatric medicine, maternity and trauma/orthopaedics.

An assessment centre for shortlisted candidates will be held on 19th November at Southmead Hospital, this is a half day process giving you an in depth understanding of the unusual and interesting role of a clinical coder. Successful candidates will then be invited back for interview on 26th/27th November

You will be responsible for translating medical terminology documented in patient records into national codes using the classifications ICD10 and OPCS4. The requirement is to produce consistent, accurate, complete and timely coded clinical data, for use by the Trust Finance Department among others.

As a Trainee Clinical Coder you will start in our training programme on Band 3 and be regularly assessed and tested during training. You will also attend a Clinical Coding Standards Course. After approximately 18 - 24 months and following passing an in house test and audit you will become an experienced Clinical Coder. After an agreed time frame (usually two to three years after commencing as a trainee) trainees sit the National Clinical Coding Qualification and upon passing will become a Band 5 Senior Clinical Coder.

The Clinical Coding Department aims to meet the demands of a modern NHS and to support the Trust's Business Activity by recruiting high calibre individuals.

Organise own workloads and work as part of a team, to ensure complete and accurate coding, with the Trust’s monthly deadlines within framework denoted by Divisional Leads.

Ensure that ‘incomplete coding’ due to outstanding histology results, is checked and completed on a regular basis, in conjunction with their Divisional Lead, to ensure accurate and completed clinical coding in a timely manner, as required.

During the initial training period to work towards meeting individual and overall department key performance indicators (KPIs). The post holder will be expected to achieve department KPIs within agreed timescales and support. The individual KPI will progress over the first year, to achieve 30 spells coded per day by end of year 1.

To undertake the 21 day Clinical Coding Standards Course, within 6 months.

To successfully pass the Trust’s in-house clinical coding exam and audit assessment after 12 and 18 months to check progress and readiness for the NCCQ.

As part of the department’s wider clinical coding audit programme, the post holders coding will be periodically audited for completed clinical coding episodes, as part of ongoing data quality assurance within the department.

After successful completion of the three-year MSc and successful RCEM credentialing trainees will be become a substantive band 8a.Educational opportunities will include a bespoke individualised learning portfolio that will be adapted to meet specific learning requirements, ensuring development of competencies required for the role fulfilling the full RCEM curriculum. Clinical supervision will be supported by an allocated consultant Educational Supervisor, an ACP Clinical Supervisor and the Lead ACP.

All trainee ACPs will work and 80:20 split between clinical and non-clinical time as well as regular educational teaching and placements across acute medicine, ITU, surgery and anaesthetics. There are regular ACP and MDT teaching activities within the ED which trainees attend.

• Coordination of customer appointments with existing and potential corporate customers upon request of the sales team.
• Supporting marketing initiatives and customer events together with the sales team.

To efficiently administer and be responsible for all duties associated with policy processing, including sufficient familiarity and knowledge of department operations to a degree that will expedite workflow through the office. This position requires attention to detail, communication with Account Executives and assistants and sufficient control and discipline to insure a high degree of accuracy within the systems.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Receives and reviews brokerage policies from carrier. Verifying required information

• Prepare policies for delivery to retail Agent by applying required stamps & correspondence   

• Independently handle policy issuance, policy logs, responsibility of policies to company.

• Review Binding polices in policy files and deliver to agents.

• Assist in mail transmittal to companies or producers as required.

• pull suspense as needed, keeping them current and in good order

• Issue and distribute certificates, forms and other materials as required with guidance from the Account Executive or Account Executive Assistant

• Communicate with producers on basic issues with form letters to secure required documentation.

• Refer to Department Manager or Account Executive where additional counsel is required to affect a timely and proper handling.

• Become thoroughly familiar with use of Outlook, PIPS, Word Processing

• Performs related duties as needed or assigned, such as filing, photocopying, imaging and collating.

Job Overview

This role is open to Finance/Accounting professionals and CPAs who would like to consider a career in the IT industry! You will spend time training with other team members on Microsoft Dynamics 365 technologies and how to become a Business Analyst in the IT Consulting industry.

As a Finance Business Analyst, you will work closely in the system development and implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics ERP system, that will be used by Hitachi's global clients. You will work closely with clients to gather requirements and understand their business processes.

Upon completion of the training and shadowing, you will have opportunities to work with global projects in the APAC region. A flexible attitude is a must. You may expect to be assigned to a flexible work shift or possible business travel opportunities outside Singapore.

The key responsibilities will include:

1. Ability to understand, communicate, interpret client business processes and requirements.
2. Document requirements into a business requirements document.
3. Configure Dynamics ERP Finance modules – GL, Bank, AR, AP
4. Completed Accounting or Finance courses.
5. Strong communication skills
6. Exposure to at least one accounting system such as MYOB, Quickbooks
