An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and motivated Trainee Advanced Practitioner to join our dedicated Oncology Team at Blackpool Teaching Hospital.
The successful candidate will be supported to complete the MSc Advanced Practice programme over 2 years with guidance and help from our medical colleagues. You will have a dedicated medical mentor and in house training to support you to achieve your MSc along with support and encouragement from the Clinical Matron of the relevant speciality.
You will be expected to influence all related aspects of care and management of patients and deliver individualised and personalised direct patient care. You must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals and be enthusiastic and committed to making a difference, and a commitment to improving practice through ongoing personal and professional development. You will become responsible for delivering high standards of care using advanced autonomous clinical skills, offering support to both our nursing and junior medical colleagues.
