This post will be fixed term for 12 months. We have three posts available in Islington and three in Camden.

Suitable applicants for these posts will be Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatric Nurses, SocialWorkersor Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners. PWPs will need toevidencethat they haveattaineda minimum of two years full-time post-qualification experience to meet eligibility criteria. All applicants who do not have a BABCP recognised core profession must enter via the Knowledge, Skills & Attitudes (KSA) route,and must complete a portfolio of evidence as per KSA guidelines.


Applicants will need to demonstraterelevant experience in delivering psychological therapies to adult clients. A knowledge of CBT and primary care experience would also be desirable.

Successful applicants will work in our Islington or CamdenNHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression (previously known as iCope) servicethreedays per week, seeing clients for psychological therapy.We are committed to providing an out of hours service,and the post holder willberequiredto work one evening per week (12-8pm).The post holder isexpected to work on site 100% of their working patter withsome opportunities to work from home as training progresses and by negotiation, aswellas in conjunction with service needs. On the other two days per week trainees will attend the training program that leads to a Post Graduate Diploma in CBT offered by Royal Holloway University of London. Trainee therapists will use Cognitive and/or Behavioural Therapy in line with the evidence base and NICE guidelines as their main therapeutic model.

This is a training position and so all candidates will need to apply for both the trainee role with H&F CAMHS and the UCL Post Graduate Diploma in Child and Young Person IAPT Therapy in order to be shortlisted.As this is a Postgraduate level training, you will be required to study and perform at academic level. Back On Track (H&F NHS Talking Therapies) are offering several places on the London-wide NHS Talking Therapies for trainee Cognitive-Behavioural Therapists. Please note this role will involve working with the adult population.

If you are an experienced mental health or social care worker with a recognised professional qualification working in a mental health setting (see core professionals list on the BABCP website), or a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience, this course gives you the training you need to become an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT Therapist) via the BABCP route.

Since launching in 2009, Back on Track has become a well-established successful NHS Talking Therapy serviceand is one of the three services provided by West London NHS Trust. Our main base is in the heart of Hammersmith near the vibrant market of Lyric Square.

We have an excellent track record of successfully supporting our CBT trainees through their training and preparing them for life after. We have also retained many of our trainees who have completed the training. We recognise that theTalking Therapiestraining programme can be demanding, and we are careful to provide weekly individual supervision, supportive line management, and a buddy system to meet the needs and maximise the learning experience of each trainee.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time band 5 Sexual Health Nurse to join our team in our level 3 ALL EAST sexual health service, providing integrated sexual health. Haringey CAMHS are looking to recruit CWPs to continue to improve children and young people’s mental health services in Haringey. The training forms part of the service transformation initiative delivered by NHS England as part of the Children and Young People’s Psychological Trainings (CYP-PT) programme.

This is a training position post holder will undertake training at Kings College London alongside working in service for Haringey CAMHS. This intensive training post will equip the post-holder to provide interventions for children, young people or families using the core principles of the CYP Psychological Training Programme and consistent with the evidence base in the area of CBT. The post-holder will work in the service, for at least 2.5 days of the week using the newly developed skills whilst attending the training programme or undertaking self-study days for the remaining days, as required by the education provider.

The post holder will hold an appropriate training case load and complete the necessary assignments to meet the course requirements.

With the assistance of their clinical supervisor accept appropriate referrals; · Assess clients for suitability for the treatment for which modality specific training is provided;

· Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department’s referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary;

· Formulate, implement and evaluate therapeutic intervention for clients in line with their training modality and experience;

· Involve the system around the child in treatment as appropriate, e.g. parent/carer, school, conveying therapy formulations with sensitivity in easily understood language;

· Attend multi-disciplinary meetings relating to referrals or clients in treatment, where appropriate;

· Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service;

· Keep coherent records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols;

· Work closely with other members of the team ensuring appropriate step-up and step-down arrangements are in place to maintain a stepped care approach.

Our service has an exciting opportunity for a Recruit to Train Trainee (SFP CDD) to join our team as part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP-IAPT).

Recruit to Train is a government-funded initiative aiming to grow the child mental health workforce to meet much needed demand. To help reach this goal, NHSE covers salary and training costs for a 1-year post, allowing services to employ trainees to aid in implementing new or expanding existing specialist pathways to bridge the gaps in CYP mental health support.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your learning from weekly teaching into practical clinical interventions working with clients in the service making a direct impact in the lives of children, young people and their families.

In line with the governments priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the new Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) role is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors in England.

This is an exciting opportunity for 4 Trainees to join the MHST.

We are seeking to recruit four graduate level practitioners to provide guided self-help therapy and parenting interventions. Further intensive supervision and on the job training will be provided by an experienced supervisor within each team. There will be a strong expectation for trainees to continue in post on successful completion of the one year training, with a salary increase to NHS Band 5 scale for the second year onwards.

Successful candidates will be employed on a full-time basis within a Mental Health Support Team delivering individual, group and workshop-based mental health interventions within a borough-based cluster of schools.

During training, the post-holders will work under close supervision to gain experience across healthcare and educational settings to enable them to gain the level of competence required to deliver high-quality, evidence-based early interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems.

Essential
