Certificate III Business Traineeship - Project Costing Officer
PROGRAMMED is seeking an enthusiastic individual based in Roma QLD that has a desire to work in Project Costing in the Civil Construction Industry. This position is a fulltime Traineeship working towards obtaining a Certificate III Qualification whilst gaining on the job skills transferable skills.

As a trainee, you will join the project costing operations team within RoadTek and provide support to the office administration division. We are seeking applicants that have a high level of interest in administration, accounting and finance.
The traineeship is hosted with RoadTek whom provide excellent mentoring, training and encourages teamwork and innovation within their business. RoadTek is a commercial government business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) who deliver a diverse range of projects that make up the state's extensive road and bridge network.
Duties may include but not limited to:
Assist in Project costing (Data entry)
Customer service which will include answering the phone, greeting visitors and delivery drivers
General administration duties which will include filing, archiving, photocopying, collect and send mail, maintaining stationary stock for printers/copiers
Using various computer programs, including Excel Spreadsheets and Word Documents
An overview, on processes such as travel, expenditure vouchers and balancing corporate card transactions
Goods Receipting: (SAP/Purchase Orders, paying invoices)
Payroll: (SAP/doing own timesheets and General overview of the SAP Applications)
Note: There may be a small about of manual handing when archiving and filing
We are seeking applicants to have the following qualities:
Excellent Customer service skills both written and oral
Demonstrate experience in multi-tasking
Work independently or in a team
Demonstrated experience working on computers and/or customer service
Flexible and willing to adapt to business needs
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Experience in data entry with attention to detail
Experience in Excel, Word, Outlook and data entry desirable
OHS White construction card or ability to obtain one prior to position commencing
Initiative and motivation is essential in this position
Driver's license and reliable transport desirable
Location:
The position is in Roma QLD therefore you will need to reside in Roma or proximity.
Prior to any offer of employment, a pre-employment medical examination 'Fit for Work' is required to determine fitness for work (including passing a drug and alcohol screen).
