The Corporate Governance Manager will:
• Co-ordinate the work between the Board of Directors to ensure joined up and integrated development events.
• Ensure the various Committee governance cycles are up-to-date and are complied with.
• Draft the agendas for various Committees for agreement with the relevant Committee Chairs and where necessary, Company Secretary/Deputy Company Secretary and make the call for papers.
• Ensure the requirements are met in relation to the Trust's Constitution for the notification of public Board meetings.
• Ensure the arrangements for meetings and the scheduling and distribution of agendas and papers for various Committees complies with the Trust's Constitution (including quorum) and governance cycles.
• Co-ordinate the preparation of papers and quality controlling them to ensure that they meet the required standard.

• Advise on conduct of meetings with respect to Terms of Reference and the Trust's Constitution.

• Liaise with the Company Secretary in the induction and training of new Board members as they are appointed or elected.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the management team within NHS 111 as a Team Leader. Work is guided by standard operating procedures, protocols or systems of work, but the worker makes judgments, plans activities, contributes to service development and demonstrates self-development. Develop and sustain productive working relationships with colleagues in order to support real time management of health advisors, senior health advisors, senior clinical advisors and dental nurses on shift, ensuring safe effective working. Maintain a close working relationship with Clinical, Audit and Training colleagues to ensure a joined- up approach to delivering operational objectives

Support and challenge workers on specific aspects of their practice by assisting call taking staff with Clinical Decision Support Systems queries when requested or through proactively identifying staff on shift who may need support. Ensure any performance concerns are addressed in real time and referred to the service manager as appropriate

Use information to take effective decisions i.e. interpret and apply performance data to gain a reliable picture of individual and organisational performance. This includes reviewing daily/weekly/monthly performance statistics against contract standards and take corrective action with the team to improve performance. Work closely with HR and the Resource Team to ensure optimisation of staffing and rotas, addressing areas of concern to ensure KPIs on all services are met.
