An exciting opportunity has arisen within Enfield Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (ECRHTT) for a Band 7 Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager secondment post.



The Enfield CRHTT is a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week service which provides urgent care for people experiencing mental health crisis as an alternative to hospital admission. The team views crisis as meaningful, a crossroads in someone’s life. We draw on several different models to understand this including family/systemic perspectives and the recovery model. The CRHT is crucial in delivering urgent crisis resolution assessments and treatment for service users by assessing their needs and caring for them in the least restrictive environment. The service will also ensure effective gatekeeping of all service users referred to the service for admission to Hospital. The post holder will ensure a high-quality responsive service to service users and referrers.





Key Responsibilities:



To manage the single point of contact of referrals for people who are in mental health crisis within the London boroughs of Barnet Enfield and Haringey.



1.1 Have managerial accountability for the delivery of quality service for users of the ECRHTT

1.3 Managing CRHTT roster to ensure CRHTT is adequately staffed from within agreed establishment.

The Clinical Lead/Deputy team manager post is central to delivering development and effective operational management of the CRHTT.



The post holder will be expected to collaborate closely with the Team Manager, Service Manager, Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychological Therapies Lead.

The Estates & Facilities Directorate provides a full range of Strategic and Operational, Hard and Soft FM Services to Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust. (BEHMHT) BEHMHT currently delivers Mental Health Services from a diverse property portfolio of Freehold and Leasehold Premises consisting of St. Ann’s Hospital in the Borough of Haringey, Chase Farm Hospital in the Borough of Enfield, Barnet General Hospital, Edgware Hospital, and Colindale Hospital, in the Borough of Barnet and from various Community Premises located throughout these boroughs.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To be the specialist advisor and source of professional and technical knowledge within the Directorate on the mechanical and electrical services plant and equipment critical equipment such as steam boiler plant, electro bio-medical (medical equipment) including decontamination, X-ray and radiology equipment and communications systems and provide advice and support within the Directorate, Service Managers, Directors and customer trusts as required.
• To provide professional advice in respect of capital and revenue projects trust wide to ensure best practice and uniformity in approach and statutory compliance.

Estate Maintenance
• To manage and monitor all estate service contracts both in-house and contracted and Service Level Agreement s with customer Trusts.
• To systematically monitor and audit all aspects of the services in accordance with Legislation, Legal Contract and NHS Guidance. These include Maintenance, Specialist Estates Services, such as Fire, Telecommunications, Energy and Utilities, Domestic, Clinical, Hazardous and Special Waste, and Critical Plant and Medical Equipment / Devices.

Monitoring and Targeting

3.1 Financial responsibility

Ensure equipment is securely stored when not in use.

3.2 Human Resources

Provide local role-based training to staff in the use of the Trusts Electronic Patient Record to ensure good quality data is available to support projects within the Division aimed at improving patient Flow.



Maintain training databases as required.



3.3Projects and Planning

Planning; and organising a broad range of complex service improvement programmes and projects; manage a wide variety of project elements and on-going processes. There will be a requirement to make adjustments to projects and strategies as required to meet quality standards and targets on an on-going basis.



Develop and maintain project plans and documentation to show ensure projects are successfully managed and progress monitored



Provide regular analysis and make judgements on complex facts, identify key milestones and risks and provide resolution to problems and failures, from a range of options, in order to deliver the objectives to the required standards.



Interpret complex data, facts and situations in order to design, collect and present measurable project outcomes.



Use project management techniques to describe current processes pathways from a clinical and administrative perspective, identifying recommendations for pathway changes to ensure an effective system is inoperation



Arrange and facilitate project meetings and workshops



3.4 Patient/Customer Care (if applicable) (both direct and indirect)

Assist clinicians and Service Managers in the mapping and redesign of carepathways



Inform and involve patients and familiesinimprovement projects by capturing their experience and working together to ensure these are reflected in projectoutcomes.



3.5 Responsibility for IT and Digital Systems/Services

Work with teams to identify process, outcome, and balancing measures for improvement projects and develop data collectionplans



Support the data analyst function, using data for improvement to understand processes and diagnose problems to identify improvement opportunities and where efforts should befocused

3.General

We have an exciting role for a Band 6 RMN on our Older Adult Admission ward which is located on the Chase Farm Hospital Site in Enfield.
