The role requires you to have overall responsibility for the 24-hour management of the frailty and complex elderly care ward and to provide on going assurance of delivery of safe, effective, compassionate patient care.
Part of the role will be to foster and lead a care environment that promotes continuous development in frailty care and clinical practice, encouraging innovation and proactively exploring service development. We are always promoting the learner environment and the post holder will also ensure that a suitable and stimulating learning environment for all and for the ongoing professional development of registered nursing workforce.
Key to delivery and success in the post with be the integrated working with all members of the Multi-disciplinary team and medical clinical lead. The provision of robustly maintained communication networks at all appropriate clinical and managerial levels as well as operationally manage resources within agreed budget as key associated strands of this senior leadership role.
