The post holder will ensure a high-quality ER service is provided across the Trust. Responsible for championing best practice HR, influencing key business decisions to ensure the effective management and utilisation of staff to benefit our patients and service. This will include coaching, supporting, mentoring, training, and developing managers’ capability in HR policy and practice.
The post holder will support the Head of Employee Relations (ER) in their role, having lead responsibility for the delivery of a highly effective, efficient and employee focused ER Team that is well respected across the Trust, and operates with the strategic organisational priorities at the forefront of their practice.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of strategic and operational HR Support, advice guidance, and will act as a senior member of the People Services Team, role modelling behaviours and providing expert guidance and judgement on Employee Relations and Employment Law issues to inform the ER function.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of relevant ER KPIs and ensures that the ER Team is delivering to expectations, leads on the delivery of the strategic employee relations elements of the Trust’s Workforce Strategy, and contributes to the growth of the ER function, including the development of an external investigation team.
The post holder will be expected to deputise for the Head of Employee Relations as required.
