It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely 100% of the time and will share a hoteling workspace if/when working onsite, as determined by business needs. The incumbent can work remotely from anywhere in the United States, unless otherwise specified in the job posting. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.This Regional Sales Manager is responsible to support credit card business development within the Automotive vertical. The position is responsible for account volume, dealer participation, and dealer engagement growth within defined territory, supporting Co-Brand automotive credit card partnership.

About This Role:

 

1. Perform regular remote communication to dealerships within assigned territory to:

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with key dealership personnel (Dealer Principal, General Manager, Finance Manager, Parts Manager and Service Manager)
• Increase awareness of credit product by meeting virtually with prospective dealerships and non-engaged personnel within participating dealerships
• Coordinate virtual credit card product and promotion training sessions for new dealers and/or dealer employees; performing training if required
• Maintain regular contact schedule with participants, prospects and partner field management to ensure consistent/increased production
• Meet production and growth requirements and objective

2. Regularly partner with regional sales teams within partner, and partner-vendor organizations to secure new dealer agreements, and increase engagement from existing dealers

3. Participate in National and regional partner tradeshows/events, and applicable field organization meetings to promote the credit card program

4. Ensure any compliance issues are addressed with dealers within territory

5. Some travel may be required to visit high opportunity dealers in assigned territory (possibly once per quarter)

6.　Document results and duties in Salesforce and other documentation as needed

7. Complete all required administrative work (timecards, reporting, calendars, etc.) in a thorough and timely manner

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

 

Basic Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required

2. Minimum of three (3) years of external sales experience required

                3. Ability to work independently, in home office

3. Must live in the continental US, preferably near a major airport

Additional Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree preferred

2. Three (3) years of dealership, auto/auto aftermarket, or credit card experience preferred

3. Account management experience preferred

4. Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

5. Working knowledge of CRM software, preferably Salesforce

Compensation:

 

Compensation range (base pay): $60,830.00-$100,370.00

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Your work:

• Evaluating both start-up and tenured business accounts in ridesharing, car sharing, car subscription, and other emerging markets.

• Collaborate with Forms, Legal, and Claims to identify risk exposures and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

• Reviewing and analyzing business financials, operations, inventory management, risk controls, employee training, procedures, and other pertinent underwriting information.

• Play an active role in the design and development of new product.

• Evaluating underwriting profitability of existing businesses, including analysis of loss runs, frequency and severity trends, and subscriber and employee driver risk profiles.

• Determining appropriate account pricing based on risk attributes, while attracting and retaining desired business and helping achieve overall program profitability targets.

• Monitoring the evolution of sharing economy and mobility sector and competitive landscape in developing innovative insurance solutions that meet the needs of new and emerging exposures.

• Effectively support broker relationships and develop new business opportunities by pursuing creative, client-centric solutions in a highly responsive and professional manner.

• Regularly interacting with executives. Interactions frequently involve activities such as speaking to or negotiating with customers, influencing other leaders, and representing the organization.

Required Experience, Education and Skills

• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3-5 years of commercial auto insurance experience.

• 2-3 years of insurance product management experience.

• Product management and/or underwriting experience for medium to large business accounts.

• Detailed knowledge of commercial lines products and contract knowledge including regulations of sharing economy and mobility sector.

• Experience with usage-based insurance product design.

• Deep knowledge of the insurance product lifecycle, competitors, insurance product pricing, financial drivers of profitability, insurance regulations and surplus line regulations, general insurance operations, and business processes.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to influence.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills focusing on “How”.

• Proactive and self-starter who will search for opportunities and problems and then address them. Flexibility and capacity to balance multiple demands.

The national average salary range for this position is $121,050-$134,500. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $108,900-$161,600. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
