We are looking for an experienced and autonomous Immunotherapy Transformation Lead to join our Oncology team at East Suffolk North Essex Foundation Trust (ESNEFT). As a Non-medical Prescriber with the NMC, HCPC, RCoP (or equivalent), you will provide expert clinical care to patients undergoing Immuno-Oncology (I.O.) treatments. Your role will involve leading the transformation of immunotherapy services by ensuring the highest standards of patient-centred care, driving forward clinical innovation, and implementing best practice guidance in collaboration with key stakeholders. You will utilise your advanced clinical assessment and management skills to support the delivery of exceptional care across the department.
This post will be based at Colchester Hospital providing outreach to Ipswich Hospital.
This post is for 12 months. Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only.
As the Immunotherapy Transformation Lead, you will lead on the assessment and management of patients, using advanced diagnostic and treatment skills to deliver evidence-based care. You will play a key role in implementing new models of care, overseeing areas such as toxicity management, consent for Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT), and AHP-led Immuno-Oncology clinics. Your role will involve prescribing and monitoring therapeutic interventions, providing ongoing care to patients post-treatment, and ensuring adherence to national and local guidelines. Additionally, you will drive clinical excellence by contributing to research, audits, and policy development, and act as a clinical resource for staff. Collaborating closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, you will lead the transformation of the immunotherapy service to meet the evolving needs of our Oncology patients.
