MHA Head Office / Epworth House are currently recruiting a Credit Controller.
Job Type: Permanent | Basis: Full Time | 37 Hours per Week
A vacancy has become available within the Accounts Receivable team at MHA for a Credit Controller.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Resident Billing and will be responsible for the collection of debts from Residents, Third Parties, Local Authorities and Health Authorities, applying the organisation's credit control procedures.
You will credit control debts by contacting residents, third parties and liaising with the Home and Scheme Managers and funders where necessary.
Other tasks include:
- Taking debit/credit card payments over the phone. Processing via online system and completing all associated administration tasks.
- Assisting in setting up and ongoing monitoring of Direct Debits, taking appropriate action where required.
- Reviewing recent admissions to ensure payment received within timescales and sending initial arrears letter if not.
- Production of arrears letters using pre-defined information and templates.
Credit Control experience is essential.
About You
A team player, with good communication skills, excellent literacy and numeracy skills, the ability to work well under pressure and a confident telephone manner are essential.
