As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with independent prescribing, you'll deliver face-to-face services, enabling patients to obtain health information from the appropriate health care professional. You will be providing safe and effective health assessments and treatment of patients within the establishment. You'll be accountable for your practice including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge or referral of patients, independent of medical intervention. Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team in providing quality, evidence-based health care to meet the immediate needs of the patient, you'll take an active role within the cross-disciplinary, multi-skilled team to ensure service quality in line with corporate goals and strategy; to assist in the implementation of the wellbeing approach which has a positive impact on the health economy.

As a Registered Nurse you will be:

-Leading a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care

-Producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks

-Maintain accurate documentation and resident records whilst incorporating the use of modern technology

-Overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation

-Responsible for making decisions in a timely manner

-Utilising your clinical skills to provide guidance and support to all team members

-Making decisions and taking action in a timely manner

-Supporting, guiding, teaching and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.

To succeed you will be:

-A Registered Nurse with the ability to lead a team of care staff
