• To conduct compliance risk assessment of the organization, including reports on ML/TF/PF inherent risks, residual risks and mitigating controls, on-going compliance status and on any findings of infringements and its recommended actions. The postholder will be expected to provide psychiatric leadership to the NDT and supervise the Band 7 nurses within the team (one of whom is a nurse prescriber), whose work includes ADHD medication monitoring clinics. The postholder will support the MDT in the neurodevelopmental assessment of new referrals to the service as well as offering consultation to colleagues and direct assessment where indicated. The postholder will run one OP clinic/week for medication management and review of complex cases. With additional MDT resources, the postholder will lead on development of the team to assess and manage young people with complex presentations which include likely neurodevelopmental comorbidity and often high risk. The team has developed innovative models for the assessment and management of neurodevelopmental disorders including an information sharing psychoeducation group for parents of children with ADHD, an initiating medication group and close collaborative work with the 3rd sector for supporting young people and families where a child has ASD or ADHD. The postholder will be required to support, maintain and develop these initiatives. Within the LD team, the postholder will provide psychiatric assessments and reviews and oversee pharmacological treatment. They will also offer psychiatric consultation and/or review for other MDT clinicians and support the team in risk assessment and management.

• Support case managers in assessing and managing risk.
• Liaison with paediatric colleagues when further physical assessment is required or to devise joint treatment plans where appropriate.
• Participation in the ongoing development of New Models of Service to improve delivery and outcome, considering the views of commissioners and evidence of best practice e.g. Care, Education and Treatment Reviews (CETRs), Dynamic Support Register (DSR).
• Assessment and treatment of psychiatric disorders will be in accordance with NICE guidelines and the research evidence base for treatment of psychiatric disorders in young people with intellectual disability. While the majority of referrals for challenging behaviour within the LD team do not require medication, there will be a number of cases where there is aggressive or self-injurious behaviour requiring short term use of medication as part of a wider Positive Behaviour Support strategy.

  • Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding stationery, printing, and consumables; manage stock and orders.
  • Maintain a single supplier database.
  • Check and process invoices accurately and within deadlines, including public claims (e.g., Interpreters Fees).
  • Challenge and advise on purchase requests to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money.
  • Administer receipt of goods, including storage and distribution.
  • Add relevant items to the Force inventory per financial regulations.
  • Provide expert purchasing advice to customers.
  • Add new suppliers to procurement systems while minimizing the supplier list.
  • Raise sales invoices and monitor outstanding debts, producing debtor reports and sending reminders.
  • Handle debtor queries and arrange write-offs when necessary; complete monthly financial health reports.

Star Metal is a leading fabricator in Perth Western Australia. We have Welder positions available in both our Industrial, and Architectural Metalwork divisions. Our projects are diverse and include large construction and mining projects.

We fabricate and install a wide range of balustrade systems, these include;

Glass and extruded aluminium systems
Glass and stainless steel custom fabricated
Glass only balustrades

Specific responsibilities will include:

Must have minimum 5 years trade experience
Demonstrated experience preparing metal for fabrication – including material selection
Experience using hand tools and trade specific powered tools and machines
Able to read and interpret drawings, and fabrication specifications
Must be capable of cutting material to prepare for fabrication, marking out, and assembling for welding fabrication
Capable of checking dimensions using measuring devices, checking level and squareness prior to welding
Must be able to check the quality of welds according to trade standards and project specifications
Demonstrated capability to grind, sand, polish finished product to the finish required for the relevant project
Experience MIG or TIG welding mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium welding

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a qualified glazier
• Working with powered saws/drills to cut and prepare frames for glazing
• Assembling glass to aluminium frame and gaskets
• Demonstrated experience glazing windows with aluminium extrusion and installing assembled product
• Experience installing glass balustrade preferred
• Capable of working alone installing assembled glass balustrade onsite.

Assembly and installation experience is an essential component of the position, the mix of each will depend on business demands.

Star Metal is a leading fabricator with a large workshop - and has fabrication opportunities in both the Industrial and Architectural Metalwork divisions. We work with tier 1 & 2 builders on large wellknown projects and have completed significant projects for BHP and Rio Tinto recently, among others, through our Industrial division.

We fabricate and install a wide diversity of projects and work packages. These include:

- Balustrading & handrails
- Electrical switchboard enclosures
- Custom fencing and gates
- Perforations and facades
- Louvres general steel fabrication

We currently have positions for:

A Steel / SS/ Aluminium Fabricator

Specific responsibilities will include:

- Mig/tig welding experience essential
- Fabricating framing from start to finish
- Experience welding stainless steel handrails / balustrades would be ideal
- Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
- Joining metal sections using various welding techniques
- An understanding of blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements

A Sheet Metal Fabricator

Specific responsibilities will include:

- Minimum 3-5 years metal trade experience, particularly sheet metal
- Experience welding sheet metal cabinets / switchboards
- General fabrication experience
- Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision
