What is Mental Health Together?

In Kent and Medway, the community mental health transformation has created a new service model called Mental Health Together.

It is a multi-agency offer, which means bringing all the services and agencies that support people with varying mental health needs much closer together.

Mental Health Together will add new roles as part of a new joined-up model of care that bridges the gap between primary (i.e. GPs) and community mental health (i.e. KMPT). It will treat people with complex mental health needs by:

• Providing someone with support in a person-centred, holistic way
• Removing barriers to access, and thresholds across services working together
• Involving service users and carers as equal partners in their care
• Building in involvement and co-production at all levels of service design delivery
• Delivering needs-led and personalised trauma-informed care.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills that you’ll use to support the team to provide the best possible care. You'll work alongside our existing Operational Team Leader and Lead Clinician, with specific clinical leadership responsibilities and support decision-making around complex cases as a key member of the multidisciplinary team.

You will provide clinical and professional supervision to all band 6 nurses in the team. A flexible and can-do attitude is essential.

A diverse post-qualification experience in mental health is required, as is at least 3 years post-qualifying experience, with at least one of these years having worked in a Band 6 role.

The Community Rehabilitation Service provides a flexible range of mental health interventions to help clients complex mental health needs to manage their mental health more effectively and remain in their own homes. The team works in close partnership with Social Care and housing providers to ensure each client has the necessary resources available to enable them to engage in their rehab journey. Across the Community Rehabilitation teams, the clinical team consists of Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses, and VCSE Workers.

Individuals will be expected to ensure the team is able provide input between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 according to the needs of the service, including working some evenings, weekends and public holidays.

You will join another full-time substantive Adult Consultant Psychiatrist, 2.8wte CAMHS Consultants, 0.4wte Paediatrician, and 0.6wte CAMHS Specialty Doctor within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

· Further develop links already established with the local acute trusts’ A&E departments and inpatient wards, in order to continually improve our services

· Be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care

· Support their peers and team leader and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative and supervise junior colleagues

This is a replacement, substantive, full-time post – 10 PAs with 7.5 PA DCC and 2.5 SPA. This post is currently vacant, and we wish to recruit to this post as soon as possible.



You will join another full-time substantive Adult Consultant Psychiatrist, 2.8wte CAMHS Consultants, 0.4wte Paediatrician, and 0.6wte CAMHS Specialty Doctor within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

· Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to patients with eating disorders across all ages, although more focus on the adult patients

· Provide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical cases

· Provide guidance and supervision to the team, work directly with adults (and their families), and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers, and acute hospitals

· Work alongside another Adult Consultant Psychiatrists, 2,8wte CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists, 0.4wte Paediatrician, and 0.6wte CAMHS Specialty Doctor within the service, and will share supervision requirements for junior doctors in the service

· Further develop links already established with the local acute trusts’ A&E departments and inpatient wards, in order to continually improve our services

· Be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care

· Support their peers and team leader and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative and supervise junior colleagues

· Commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies

**Finance Business Partner**
Morgan Hunt is working with a leading healthcare organisation based in Kent looking to recruit a **Finance Business Partner**. This is a 3 month contract role paying up to £290 p/day and will be required to be on site 4 days p/week.

**Key Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:**

• Budget Management and Accountability: Lead budget accountability reviews and manage a specific financial team, ensuring the provision of accurate and timely financial information across Divisions. Influence budgetary control and drive efficiency by providing expert advice and guidance.
• Financial Reporting: Deliver comprehensive monthly financial reports and detailed income and expenditure assessments. Oversee the production of Divisional forecasts and financial reports to support informed decision-making.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a primary financial resource for senior managers, budget holders, and external stakeholders, promoting a customer-focused approach to financial management.
• Cost Efficiency and Productivity: Identify cost-saving opportunities within Divisions by leveraging bench marking and hospital data. Support transformation initiatives by inlaying and advising on cost efficiency and productivity.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the Trust's annual budgeting process and long-term financial management strategy in alignment with the healthcare environment's evolving demands.
• Training and Development: Train and mentor financial staff, budget holders, and non-financial managers to foster strong financial literacy and adherence to financial principles within the Trust.

**Previous Skills and Experience of the Finance Business Partner:**

- **Qualifications**: CCAB fully qualified, with a Master's degree or equivalent experience, and evidence of continued professional development (CPD).
- **NHS Financial Expertise**: In-depth understanding of NHS financial regulations, investment appraisals, and costing methodologies.
- **Leadership and Relationship Management**: Proven experience in managing financial teams, developing efficiency programs, and building collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders.
- **Analytical and Decision-Making Skills**: Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide clear, actionable recommendations. Proficient in strategic decision-making with experience in resource allocation.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent ability to convey complex financial information in an accessible way, with a capacity to motivate and lead teams towards change and improvement.
