You will be working alongside 6 people who live in their own flats within the same building in Leicester (LE2), so it is important that you can connect and share their interests. We need people like you to ensure they can live as independently as possible.
If you are positive and friendly person, who enjoys encouraging people to try new activities and are passionate about helping people to access their community, then we want to hear from you.
You will be supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, focusing on day to day skills as well as getting out into the community. The have a wide range of interests including the theatre, musicals, listening to music, day trips and going to discos! You could be part of our team and help to support people to maintain or learn new skills needed to live their best lives!
So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.
This is a part time role working 22.5 hours a week. You should be available to work a variety of shifts between the hours of 7am – 10pm across the week and alternate weekends..
For this role we need you to be a driver with a full UK driving licence that you have held for over a year for insurance purposes. You must be willing to drive a mobility vehicle, so you can get around Leicester and make the most of the time you are spending with the people you support.

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.
