The main duties of the post consist of providing consultant leadership, supervision and support to their team.The post-holder will participate, directly and indirectly, in the assessment of patients referred to the service and in drawing up coproduced care plans which will address the patients’ psychiatric, physical, psychological and social needs, with the input of the whole multidisciplinary team. Good communication will be undertaken with the patient’s GP and workers in the team. When a review of the care plan is indicated, the post-holder will participate in such reviews and include the GP, carer or any other relevant professionals.



The post holder will also provide clinical supervision to resident doctors allocated to the team.

Highly specialist SLT in critical and acute care managing complex communication and swallowing impairments including patients who are tracheostomised and ventilated.

Senior leadership and management of the acute SLT team.

- The post provides the main clinical cover for general and cardio thoracic critical care units and input across the hospital wards including medcard and front door services.

- Thepost is required to input into the multidisciplinary management of complex critically ill patients with communication and swallowing impairments, including those with tracheostomies and ventilatory requirements, as per the Intensive Care Society guidelines, these patients should receive daily SLT input therefore there needs to be cover across the week.

- The post holder’s expertise and input helps to support patient recovery and rehabilitation which in turn helps reduce secondary complications and ongoing care needs, aiding flow through the hospital and discharge.

This administration role is aimed at current band 3 booking coordinator looking for career progression and additional admin responsibilities. The post will suit a well organised, hardworking, efficient, and enthusiastic person, who will be responsible for the running of the appointment booking system, reception duties, answering telephone inquiries and liaising with clinical staff at all levels.

Customer service experience is essential. Previous experience of working within in a high demand, team-based environment is required. Ability to work within strict time deadlines, whilst retaining accuracy and attention to detail is required.

• To provide a comprehensive administration, booking and appointment service for non-invasive Cardiac Physiology and ensure compliance with waiting time targets.
• To provide reception cover if required to the pacing clinic.

Main tasks and responsibilities


• Provides support to Cardiology Department Participates in quality control and technical audits.

An opportunity has arisen for an Orthopaedic Optimisation Project Lead Fixed at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Trust.

We have funding for an exciting new project which will manage Orthopaedic referrals for the South-east of London. The APP team in the integrated musculoskeletal Service will work together on this project andan opening has arisen within the team to participate in and supportthis exciting initiative whilst maintain clinical waiting times and meeting of activity targets.

Clinical and Communication Responsibilities

Guy's ACU Embryology requires high calibre, focused individuals to join the team and support our expanding OTC service. You will undertake all routine andrology and embryology procedures as well as support the training of new laboratory team members. There will be the opportunity to complete further training to undertake embryo biopsy for the largest PGT programme in the UK. In addition to this we require scientists with clinical experience in ovarian tissue cryopreservation and HTA regulations to support Guy's OTC programme. The Head of Information Governance (Information Rights and Records Managementwill:

· Establish and maintain the trust as a leading provider for Information Rights And Records Management.



· Develop and deliver training and guidance specific to the context of the trust accounting for the new requirements and structures under the Health and Social Care Act 2012.

The successful candidate will be working as an OMFS Consultant in OMFS at Homerton Healthcare, in a primarily elective setting, with support to develop their areas of subspecialty interest. Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is an integrated care trust which provides hospital and community health services for Hackney, the city and surrounding communities. The Trust provides a full range of adult, older people’s and children’s services across medical and surgical specialties.
