As part of your normal duties you will be raising sales invoices/credit notes, managing your daily workload to ensure all data is processed and uploaded in a timely manner. The role also includes collections. You will be part of the first point of contact for stakeholders, processing their invoices and providing reminders of due payments.

Band 3 Healthcare Assistants - Critical Care Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our busy Critical Care Team (ICU/HDU) at Epsom & St Helier University Hospital NHS Trust.

The base site for this post is St.Helier Hospital ICU.

St .Helier Hospital ICU currently comprises of 13 beds incorporating specialities including; emergency/scheduled general surgery, acute medicine and, renal.

Epsom Hospital HDU/ICU comprises of 8 beds. It predominantly provides care for elective surgical and acute medical admissions.

As Critical Care provision is a 24 hours, 7 days a week service, applicants will be expected to undertake internal rotation, including weekends, night duties and bank holidays.

In order to fulfil the job role, learning and development requirements, and service needs applicants will be required to work across both hospital sites.

The HCA role supports the clinical team in caring for critically ill patients and their loved ones, and ensuring clean and organised clinical areas. You would be responsible for providing fundamental aspects of patient care at the direction of the qualified nursing team to ensure critically ill patients and their loved ones receive high quality, dignified and respectful care.

We are looking for someone who is “hands-on” with healthcare experience, preferably in acute care, and who possess the following attributes;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to work confidently and collaboratively across professional boundaries and use your initiative.

This is a full time 10 PA post required to cover locum Consultant vacancy and to meet the increasing demand for Imaging in the Trust. This post aims to support the general Radiology work across all out trust sites including CT, MRI and Ultrasound with candidates keen to develop subspecialty that compliments the skill mix of the department.

The successful applicant will join a team of 25 Consultant Radiologists each of whom provides a general radiological service including Plain film reporting, Ultrasound, CT and MRI as well as having a subspecialty interest. The successful applicant will be expected to work cross site and join the out of hour’s rota to provide evening and weekend cover. Overnight services are externally outsourced.



The principal duty of this post is to provide a comprehensive clinical service to patients.

What will the Purchase Ledger role involve?

• Maintenance of the purchase ledger, ensuring this is ready for payment runs;
• Accounts administration and data entry to a high standard;
• Dealing with complex invoices, investigating and resolving any queries;
• Assisting a small purchase ledger team with month end processes.

Suitable Candidate for the Purchase Ledger vacancy:

• You will be confident with end to end purchase ledger processes;
• Adept at using accountancy systems and be an intermediate Excel user;

Epsom and St. Helier based duties: Fixed term 12 months


Critical Care department (ICU and HDU) cross site (Epsom and St. Helier)
The main aim of the post is to enable the post holder to recognise potentially life-threatening
situations and equip them with the knowledge and skills to initiate immediate resuscitative
measures. It will also train them in the appropriate use and interpretation of cardio-pulmonary
monitoring. Training will be competency-based, according to the recommendations of the InterCollegiate Board for training in Intensive Care Medicine and continuous assessment and 360
degree appraisals will also be employed. There will be regular consultant-led teaching session.

Junior Clinical Fellow in Critical Care

An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated doctors to join our talented and hardworking team at Epsom & St Helier. We are looking for trainees/fellows withat least 6 month's to 1 year UK experiencein relevant specialities like critical care, anaesthetic, surgery, general medicine or emergency medicine

These posts will require right to work in UK and current GMC registration

This post would be ideal for any candidate wishing to pursue a postgraduate qualification in intensive care medicine, as well as offering excellent training opportunities to those who wish to gain experience and procedural skills in the recognition and management of the critically ill patients. We would welcome candidates from a variety of clinical backgrounds including critical care, anaesthesia, medicine, and accident and emergency.

There will be an opportunity for juniors to participate in teaching sessions, audit and research activities. You will be well supported by our recently increased dedicated friendly ICU consultant team.
