An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy Radiology teams within The Northumbria NHS Foundation trust - There are positions available based at North Tyneside General Hospital.
We are seeking to recruit a Radiographer to provide cover in a busy department within the trust. The post holder will be required to work out of hours and weekends, evenings and night shifts.
The post holder will be expected to actively take part in completing CPD.

The post holder will be part of the shift rota.
The post holder may be required to rotate between sites across the Trust.
There is an expectation that the post holder will actively take part in CPD and discussion. They will also help to mentor students and supervise assistant practitioners.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate. To assist in the provision of high quality Radiographic Service within Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust, whilst complying with all Trust and Department policies and procedures.
To carry out all radiographic techniques and examinations to a consistently high standard, professionally and efficiently following department procedures.
To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means
demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and
empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams /departments and across organisational boundaries.
