TSS are looking for a Cook / Chef to join one of the First Largest Facilities Management Companies in the UK. You will be working for the Ministry of Justice so you will need a valid Basic DBS Certificate. Must be a UK resident and hold the relevant Right to work documents. 4 on 4 off shift pattern

Responsibilities:

Food & Hygiene Certificate Preferred but not essential.
Meal preparation: Skills in planning meals for 25-30 people
Prepare and cook delicious and appealing meals in a timely manner, from fresh or pre-packed foods.
Oversee all the kitchen operations and ensure food quality and presentation meets highest standards.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, and rotate fridge/freezer on foods dated etc.
Adhere to food & hygiene guidelines.

Experience:

Proven experience working as a Chef / Cook in a restaurant or culinary setting
In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques / menus
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Excellent communication and organisational skills
You can use your own initiative as well as work part of a team
You must have your own Chef Whites & Cap
Good customer service and communication skills

Must be able to commute comfortably to work.

Luton LU1 1RG 12.00-18.00 Mon-Fri (30 hours per week)
Luton LU1 1RG 08.30-14.30 Sat & Sun (12 hours a week)

PAYE £13.50 per hour
