The Role:As Senior Commercial Manager, you'll take the lead in managing our key commercial relationship with one of the Top 4 UK

Key Responsibilities:

* Own and drive the commercial strategy with a Top 4 UK retailer, ensuring all business areas are aligned and focused on
achieving results.
* Act as the main point of contact, managing the day-to-day relationship with the retailer, ensuring smooth communication across
commercial, supply chain, and NPD functions.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams, including production, technical, supply chain, and category management, to ensure
seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
* Leverage your understanding of Category Management principles to shape and direct our categories for mutual benefit.
* Analyse sales data, identify key performance drivers, and create actionable plans to address business challenges and capitalize
on opportunities.
* Travel to customer meetings and our manufacturing sites as needed to maintain strong, strategic partnerships.
* Management of one Commercial Executive within the account.




Who We're Looking For:

* A proven track record of dealing with major UK retailers for at least 3 years experience of Buyer level or above – Tesco
experience is highly desirable.
* Experience in both Own Label and Branded products, with a deep understanding of what retailers look for in a supplier.
* Strong numerical skills and the ability to interpret market data and trends to inform commercial decisions.
* Self-motivated, with a proactive attitude towards identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
* A passion for food and a strong understanding of chilled and short-shelf-life categories.
* Financially literate with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work across various functions.
* Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with the gravitas to represent our company professionally at a
senior level.
* Strong computer skills, particularly MS Office, and experience in category management, open book costing models, and commodity
tracking.
* Flexibility to travel for customer meetings (London) and our UK site visits as required.

We are looking for a Head Cook to join our Specialist School in Nottingham City Centre.

The Head cook will be instrumental in the kitchen by preparing snacks and lunch to 85 pupils in our specialist school that encompasses primary to secondary aged students.

The role involves preparing and cooking nutritious meals for our pupils whilst considering the specialist and varied students’ dietary requirements. We are looking for someone who strives to encourage healthy eating though the menu.

Duties include preparing, cooking and serving cold snack and hot lunches, an overview of pupils allergens records, placing orders, stock taking, receiving and storing deliveries, making up food boxes to spec, able to overview budget and its targets, making sure cleaning records are up to date, able to supervise your team to cover the daily tasks and making sure they have up to date training.

Enrolment of new students is open throughout the academic year, so flexibility in the head cooks approach is key, as additional meals may be increased at a short notice. It is vital that you can maintain an environment where our pupils feel happy, safe, and valued.

High standards of hygiene and adherence to codes of conduct and guidelines are crucial to this role. Must have a level 2 food hygiene and previous experience in a catering environment. Computer literacy is desirable but not essential.

Salary: £14.85 p/hr or £20,134.80 per annum - Term Time Only (45.6 weeks)

Hours: 30 per week, Monday to Friday 07:30am to 1:30pm

Your role as Second Chef

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Chef to join our team at the University of Nottingham. Based on our award-winning University Park campus you will work within the kitchens of our student Halls of Residence. Job Description

• Menu Planning and Execution – create and plan menus in accordance with the style and customer preferences of the location. Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes, monitoring wastage and portion control
• Staff Management – recruit, train, and supervise all staff, including chefs, cooks and front of house. Provide continual guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to kitchen staff
• Inventory and Cost Control – monitor and manage stock levels, sensible approach to ordering supplies
• Customer Relations - Interact with customers to understand their specific catering needs and preferences and maintain an open channel of communication to address any concerns or requirements. Consistently seeking feedback is key to success
• Health and Safety Compliance – support the head chef to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and food safety protocols/policies. Create an environment that has safety embedded in the culture
• Budget and Financial Management – develop and manage kitchen budgets, report on financial performance and implement any cost savings required without impacting delivery of excellence
• Menu Development and Innovation – stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new ideas into menus
• Compliance and Documentation - maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and food preparation processes and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

• Be responsible for the overall engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel

We are looking for an enthusiastic Head Cook to join our Specialist School in Nottingham City Centre.
You will be instrumental in providing breakfast, lunch, snacks and occasional hospitality service to our school. You will plan and write menus and provide nutritious and varied meals for our pupils whilst considering specialist and varied dietary requirements.
You will have a duty to plan and prepare these meals from ordering stock right through to the presentation to our pupils.
High standards of hygiene and adherence to codes of conduct and guidelines are crucial to this role.
You will have the ability to be flexible in your approaches. It is vital that you can maintain an environment where our pupils feel happy, safe and valued.
