I am currently recruiting for a Financial Controller role for a Scale-Up Food & Beverage brand. They are a privately-owned business that produces a range of culinary products, having launched their product nationally in many well-known supermarkets and their online platform. They've won prestigious awards for their products and recently partnered with a well-known and established food supplier.

Your new role

They are currently growing their team and now looking for a Financial Controller. This role will also be responsible for future junior hires within the finance function as the company expands. The role liaises closely with the production and sales teams, whilst owning control processes and commercial analysis. This role is granted full financial scope in a close relationship with the Head of Finance, CFO and charismatic MD who is driving the business to embark on further development avenues.
Key duties:

• Manage the Finance Team of 3
• Monthly Management Accounts preparation, statutory accounts and audit completion.
• Responsible for the Annual Budgets, ensuring variances to budget are reviewed and actioned
• Management of cash and working capital across the business through accurate and timely cashflow reporting
• Working closely with the Sales and Supply team to ensure appropriate reporting and controls are in place
• System and process improvement

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate would be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with industry experience, ideally in the food/drinks/FMCG industry. Will also consider experience within Manufacturing / Wholesale / Pharmaceuticals. Exposure to stock & shelf-life consideration is a large advantage for this role. Team management experience is a plus. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START THIS ROLE BY END OF NOVEMBER 2024.

Job Description

As a Hospitality Supervisor you will be working closely with the Hospitality Manager and Group Manager based on site in one of our flagship properties, supporting the Hospitality Manager in all aspects of day to day running of the business.

Our Hospitality Supervisor will build strong relationships with the Client services team, Clients and other stakeholders, understanding a brief and executing every detail with continuous quality and a human touch.

WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:

• Monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guest and clearing throughout the event.
• Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests offered to customers/clients/guest in designated meeting spaces to the agreed standard.
• To be able to work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks without being directed.
• To serve our guests with the highest level of customer service with maximum speed, efficiency and always with a smile.
• To support and lead the Retail team where required.
• To offer ideas and innovations in order to elevate the hospitality offer to the next level.
• Assist with the ordering and deliveries as required
• Attend weekly event meetings
• Prepare hospitality weekly function sheets for the FOH and kitchen teams
• Ensuring that any linen hired, and equipment hired for an event is counted and packed away for collection after the event.
• Ensuring hospitality rooms are left clean and tidy

Collaborate effectively with the catering team, kitchen staff, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.

Your new role:
