About Us:
Our client, Patel Corner Foods Ltd T/A Jaldhara Store – based in Leicester, is retail establishment specializes in offering a diverse range of products and services. Our retail space provides various services like parcel pickup/drop-off for major carriers such as UPS, Amazon, DPD, FedEx, Yodel, Evri, etc. Additionally, we offer National Lottery services, Pay Point, bill payments & cash point Machine facilities, as well as a selection of various convenient store products. Our comprehensive offerings aim to meet the varied needs of our customers, making us a one-stop destination for a wide array of products and services. Due to the rapid increase in the business, we are looking for a shop supervisor that will look after and handle daily business activities. Shop Supervisor will be responsible to full and smoothly run the business and provide feedback to the Owners/Directors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fulfil and supervise production functions such as: goods inwards, storage, and goods outward to proper location, issue receipts.
• Supervise store activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Responsible to Health and Safety at work while performing duties.
• Maintain a pleasant and polite approach while selling off licence products, sale of vapes, and challenging customer identity.
• Responsible for all banking functions related to the store including making bank deposits, etc.
• Handle cash register, sales, correct pricing, inventory control and receipts.
• Perform and supervise housekeeping duties, including cleaning the sales floor.
• Supervise the CCTV operation and report any issues.
• Perform record keeping and reporting of money, in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and responsibility for other duties as assigned.
• Position may perform some or all the duties described above.


ESSENTIAL REQUIRMENTS:

1. Experience retail trade with at least 1 year experience in supervising a retail shop.
2. Experience using a till cash register, pay station system, secure paying machine.
3. Ability to communicate effectively in English (must), Hindi(preferred), Gujarati(preferred) verbally and written, to cater all customers’ needs and requirements.
4. Able to calculate and execute basic accounting and cash control procedures.
5. Basic judgment skills to determine the value of goods.
6. Basic computer skills with Microsoft office and internet savvy.
7. Above all the candidates should be Trustworthy, should be accountable and responsible while performing the duties on job.


SALARY RANGE: £36000 to £38000 depending on experience.

LOCATION: Leicester - UK.

• Contribute to the development of menus.

Then look no further as our client, Indian Rooster (Melton Road) Limited T/A Indian Roosters, owns a renowned Indian restaurant on the famous Melton Road in Leicester, in the centre of the food hub for Indian cuisine and has recently refurbished, as the business is expanding due to high demand within the area. The business is looking for an Indian curry Chef for its restaurant-expanding business in Leicester.

Roles & Responsibilities:
You should have experience in making Indian cuisine and should be able to follow recipes and hygiene standards- Chef – Indian curry Expertise. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking the Indian food, maintaining the inventory of ingredients, ensuring the quality and freshness of the products, and delivering the orders to the customers. You will also be part of a friendly and supportive team that works together to create a memorable experience for our customers. Prospective candidates must be experienced in cooking using the equipment commonly used in Indian-style cooking. The Chef is required to know very well about different types of Indian cuisine with amazing & authentic Indian taste. Must know the combination of Ingredients and cooking style.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Preparation, cooking South, North Indian and Indo-Chinese curries and presenting dishes.
• Assist with stock ordering and monitoring.
• Should be specialized in authentically cooking Indo-Chinese with Indian style.
• Participate fully in all meetings, training, personal development, and forums.
• Demonstrate excellent food preparation practices, portion control and end-to-end food production.
• Supporting the other staff on the tandoor oven and preparation of curries.
• Take responsibility for delivering the highest standard of food production and presentation to customers including manning the live cooking stations if required.
• Monitor food consumption to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and minimum waste.
• Support in the introduction of new seasonal dishes to maintain profit margins.
• Cascade your knowledge and expert cooking to all kitchen staff.
• Suggested innovation and commercially viable ideas to improve food quality.


Quality:
1) Maintains and monitors hygiene, health, and safety standards and monitors that Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations are adhered to.
2) Maintains and monitors quality, and conducts quality control checks according to regulations.
3) Conduct quality checks of goods received.
4) Monitors and ensures compliance with recipe specifications Leadership.
5) Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, and directed.
6) Create a daily schedule to ensure proper staffing requirements are met.
7) Guide, motivate, and develop the subordinate employees.

Relevant Experience:
1. Expertise in making different curries – North and South Indian cooking.
2. Minimum 3 years, high volume catering/banquet experience.
3. Excellent knowledge of relevant food and health & safety regulations.
4. Strong and rational communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
5. Knowledge and maintain food cost and hygiene regulations.
6. Ability to lead and mentor a team with high volume, restaurant experience, and must have worked in restaurants doing over sales annually.
7. Skilled in writing production lists, F&B proposals, and requisitions.

 The annual package is £27000 to £32000 depending on experience.

Food Technology Teacher

You must have relevant experience working with 11 - 16 year olds within the last 2 years and we must be able to obtain relevant references for this time. You should have a professional manner and a flexible attitude to working and timetable changes. Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic, engaging and passionate about working with young people. Strong behaviour management and the ability to implement schools' behaviour polices is also essential. To be successful, you will be a Qualified Teacher (ECT's welcome to apply) and have recent experience of teaching Food Technology across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Job Description:

• Delivering engaging and creative Food Technology lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Supporting, advising, guiding and supervising students throughout the school day.
• Supporting Food Technology classes in the absence of the timetabled staff/teacher.
• Delivering the cover work established in the absence of the teacher.
• To have a primary focus on maintaining good order and ensuring students are on task so that learning can take place.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related field.
• Recent experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level.
• Strong behaviour/classroom management.
