The post holder will offer general assistance and support to the Practice Nursing Team, liaising closing with the Senior Practice Nurse and the Lead GP. Monitor emergency drugs check list To assist in general nursing duties, under the supervision of the Practice Nursing Team, i.e. Urine testing, weight/height, blood pressure measurements, ECG recording, spirometry, peak flow measurements smoking cessation advice and any other duties that may be assigned as necessary. About the Role

Activities will include going swimming twice a week at his local leisure Centre, attending art clubs, walks along the beach front, and exploring new areas outside the Southend-on-Sea area. Most importantly, suggesting new ideas and opportunities that serve the service users' best interests, by going above and beyond.

He has limited verbal communication and would only need prompts for personal care. You will then need to communicate with him effectively and appropriately, whilst also giving him the opportunity to communicate his needs as well.

The North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Services (NMCPS) formed in December 2020 and is a network collaboration between The University Hospital of North Midlands (UHNM), Mid Cheshire and East Cheshire NHS Trusts (MCHFT). UHNM are the host provider of the network. The Cellular pathology department is situated on the Royal Stoke site. This post is suitable for someone who is highly motivated, proactive, enthusiastic, a good team worker with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. The ability to prioritise tasks together with effective communication is essential. You should have a methodical and organised approach to work and be able to work under your own initiative once fully trained. A good general education demonstrable at GCSE level or equivalent is required with a sound knowledge of Microsoft computer packages (Word and Excel) and experience of data input, extract and manipulation. Basic knowledge of Health and Safety, confidentiality and data quality is essential to this role. You must be numerate and able to handle numbers accurately and without error.
