We are looking for an Assistant ER Advisor for a fixed term maternity cover based at Frimley Park Hospital. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is already studying for their CIPD level 3/5 although consideration will be given to someone who aspires to do so.

Although primarily based at Frimley, the role requires the ability to work/travel cross site to attend meetings. These locations include sites we have out in the community.

You will work closely with the HR Business Partners and the Senior ER Advisors on all sites to support provision of the following to managers and staff:

• To support the HR Business Partner team to ensure accurate reporting of data

• Must be in date for Basic Life Support (BLS), Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC).

Are you looking for a Full-time Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) position with a desire to work as part of the largest NHS led Pathology Services in the UK? You will be based at Frimley Park Hospital.

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and well-motivated individual with good scientific background to complement our existing MLA team.

Essential qualities expected are efficiency, being well organised, having good communication skills and attention to detail. Good keyboard skills are desirable. In addition, you should be a reliable individual who is able to demonstrate good practical skills and work as part of a team.

You must be keen to embrace new ways of working and develop your knowledge and skills and able to participate in the shift system. Support and encouragement will be given for career development.

You will be expected to work according to our working time compliant shift system and on rare occasions may be required to work at the Wexham Park Hospital site to maintain quality, training and service requirements.

The laboratory is UKAS accredited to ISO 15189. The lab is well equipped with a Kiestra TLA system, Faecal PCR testing and Mast UriSystem. MALDI-TOF and GenExpert complete the picture for an efficient and highly-automated Bacteriology department.

The postholder will assist in the preparation of analytical work for the Bacteriology Department across a range of department work areas under the supervision of a Registered Biomedical Scientist. The postholder is required to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times for any tasks carried out. There is a requirement to communicate with pathology staff, hospital staff, porters, drivers and couriers.

The postholder will provide support to the BMS staff through sorting, numbering and entering onto Laboratory Information Management System. The postholder will be required to operate the department waste disposal systems including use of autoclaves in a safe manner.

The diagnostic work of the department includes processing, for example, blood, cerebrospinal fluid, urine, faeces, sputum, tissues and diverse secretions. Processed samples are then interpreted for the presence of pathogens, these could be bacterial, fungal or parasitic.

We are looking for someone to become part of the paediatric dietetic team at Frimley Park, which provides a high-quality nutrition and dietetic service to patients and staff. The department consists of a team of 35 providing services to Frimley Park Hospital and the local community.

You will develop a good understanding of therapeutic diets and catering systems. You must have good communication skills and the ability to problem solve and use initiative to deal with varied queries. Good basic office and computer skills are required for this post as well as being able to work as a flexible and supportive team member.

You will be assisting the Paediatric dietitians as well as working under supervision in both the inpatient and outpatient setting providing support to patients who require special diets and feeds with appropriate menus and supplementary drinks/formula, liaising as required, with ward staff and the catering department.

Administrative responsibilities will include general office administration and checking patient menus, retrieving patient information prior to clinics, stock checking and handling of enteral feeding supplies and computer analysis of patient intakes.
