Role & Responsibilities:

• Maintain and build on all health, safety and environmental standards, processes & procedures
• Coach supervisors and managers on best practice across HSE
• Management of the EHS and ISO14001 environmental strategy
• Make sure the site remains legally compliant in all aspects of HSE - ISO14001 & ISO4500 Standard
• Investigate accidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Manage site procedures & standards for risk assessments, SSOW, control & monitoring hazards, substances, work equipment, PPE, manual handling

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Must have experience in a similar HSE Manager position
• Beneficial to have worked in some form of manufacturing industry
• Must have NEBOSH General Certificate & IOSH

• Knowledge of keeping up-to-date with HSE standards and make sure a site is compliant
• Be flexible outside of working hours to discuss any questions or issues employees might have
• Experience of working with Environmental Management Systems
• Comfortable & confident coaching and influencing staff and managers on the importance of H&S
• Proactive and progressive individual
• Beneficial to have NEBOSH Diploma and IEMA Certificate in Environmental

Experienced Civils biased Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Manager required to join a regional contractor based in West Sussex to oversee a range of projects across Hampshire, West Sussex and East Sussex. Traditionally overseeing a wide scope of projects including coastal scheme, ground-works, water treatment plants and more. Reporting into the managing director with regular liaison with the board of directors, department heads and site teams.

This Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Manager role will involve regular reviews and improvement of existing processes and systems, monitoring relevant KPI's, audits, maintenance of ISO standards as well as assisting with the pre-construction & tender stage.

AS HSQE Manager you will lead the HSQE team as well as represent the business to clients, subcontractors & supply chain working together to improve HSQE standards.

This HSQE Manager is with a busy south coast regional contractor with a turnover more than £50M. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced HSQE Manager or an ambitious HSQE Advisor looking to step up with the prospect to work across a variety of interesting schemes ranging from £300K - £300M in value.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as the financial manager for the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. The Chief Financial Officer provides sound recommendations and advice to the Medical Center Director and Senior Leadership concerning the administration and coordination of Fiscal policy, programs and system designs within Fiscal Service and the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provides leadership and financial services to a large complex healthcare system.
• Responsible for fund maintenance of programs, appropriateness of expenditures, collection of funds and ensuring the fiscal integrity of all financial records at the medical facility.
• Responsible for the supervision and control of all facility business functions, to include General Ledger Accounting, Budget, Voucher Audits, Agent Cashier, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Patient Funds, Fee Basis, Auditing, and General Post Funds.
• Provides analysis and advice in the design, adaptation, and Installation of automated accounting systems.
