As a Deputy Nursery Manager in the Nuffy Bear Day Nursery at our Stoke Poges FWC, you'll be qualified with either the NNEB, an NVQ Level 3/4, BTEC, BA Hons or equivalent. Ideally, you also hold Early Years Practitioner Status and Paediatric First Aid and food hygiene qualifications. As you'd expect, you'll require an enhanced DBS for this role.

As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will:

• Support the team and deputise in the absence of the Nursery Manager

• Ensure that we provide the highest standards of care and education

• Promote the health, growth and development of every child in our nursery

• Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage

• Oversee planning activities and assessments while implementing childcare legislation updates

Deputy Nurse Manager

Hourly Rate: £20-£22

Requirements for the Deputy Nurse Manager role:

• You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN /RNLD
• Active NMC PIN
• Clear DBS.
• Good working knowledge of CQC regulations
• Proven track record of leading a Nursing team and delivery of person-centred care, including care planning.
• 1-2 years experience needed within a similar role

About the Nursing Home:

This Nursing Home caters to a variety of needs, from general nursing for the elderly frail, as well as respite care and rehabilitation stays. This homes staff can also provide for those requiring specialist dementia care.

The role of a Deputy Nurse Manager within the Nursing Home involves:

• Being responsible for the management of the nursing services in liaison with the Home Manager
• Promoting and maintaining high standard of nursing care
• Ensuring effective induction of new nursing staff and providing ongoing clinical supervision of trained staff
• Woking within the NMC and CQC standards, alongside internal policies and procedures
• Planning, directing and delivering high quality person-centre care through care planning process
• Overseeing all aspects of medicine management ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
• Undertaking staff reviews through supervision, appraisals and team meetings

To work as a Team Leader for the Outpatient Appointments booking team at Wexham Park Hospital. To assist with the day to day running of the outpatient appointments team and support the Patient Pathway Co-ordinator.



To deputise in the Patient Pathway Co-ordinator absence and ensure all staff are trained appropriately. To be involved in transforming current work practices to meet all the Trust requirements.

To work as the Team Leader for the Outpatient Appointments team and be responsible for providing excellent customer service. To work with the line manager to ensure all staff are trained appropriately and help set up and maintain training records. To be responsible for the day to day management of staff including induction , appraisal and performance management. To deputise in the line manager's absence. To ensure all phone calls are dealt with in a professional and timely manner and adhere to the local targets set by the department and the Trust.
