We are a busy surgical admissions and day surgery unit working between 2 areas within the Hospital. Staff move daily between areas and are involved in the admission of around 35 -40 patients per day.

It is a fast paced environment but highly rewarding. Training will be given once in post.

The Integrated Community Paediatric Service (ICPS) is looking for enthusiastic, flexible and motivated Healthcare Support Worker's (HCSW) to support the Children's Care Package Service. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate empathetic sensitive and compassionate approach to all children, young people families and carers.

The Care Package Service supports children and young people with complex health needs and their families across all community settings- home, school and social activities. There may be times when this support is also required within the hospital or hospice setting. Care is delivered as commissioned by the Integrated Care Board throughout a 24 hour period, 7 days a week.

Upon appointment, a 6 week induction period will be offered, with training and competence assessments to prepare staff for this role. Upon completion of induction period and training, HCSW's will expected to work with children and young people as part of a team as well as autonomously as a lone workers, indirectly supervised by registered nurses, following care plans and trust policies and procedures.

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust Occupational Health Department have a vacancy for an Occupational Health Nurse (Band 6). You will play a vital role within the department as it strives to provide high quality services to the Trust and our external clients.

Reporting to Occupational Health Manager, you will be part of a multi disciplinary Occupational Health team. You will communicate and work collaboratively with OH Advisers, OH Nurses, Mental Wellbeing Practitioners, HR professionals and liaise with key stakeholders and external agencies as required in support of a proactive and timely approach to employee health in the workplace.

Provide comprehensive, confidential advice to managers, HR and employees and make recommendations on fitness for work/task on pre placement assessments

To carry and manage a caseload dealing.

To undertake occupational screening / health surveillance and provide the relevant analysis in accordance with health and safety legislation and interpret results and advise accordingly.

Provide support with vaccination / immunisation delivery and management, including seasonal flu campaigns.

To refer on for advice and diagnosis from a senior OH clinician if required.

Be willing to learn or have experience of the following requirements

Registered General Nurse Part 1 NMC.

Knowledge of vaccination / immunisation requirements.

Experience of pre placement assessments.

Knowledge of Management referral and risk assessment.

Proficient in producing clear, legible, concise and accurate case notes, letters and reports on OH issues, ensuring compliance with confidentiality, professional standards and data protection legislation.
