The Women Veterans Program Manager duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Leads facility-wide Women Veterans program.
- Assesses the need and implements services for women Veterans.
- Provides facility guidance regarding changes that are implemented in the program.
- Plans, coordinates quality of care, evaluates delivery of care to include timeliness to women Veterans needing serves.
- Implements new programs and expands existing programs.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary team to develop orientation processes, policies and procedures for the Women Veterans Health Care Program.
- Establishes relationships with internal and external customers to facilitate outreach to identify and engage women Veterans.
- Initiates and/or supports outreach activities by attendance at health fairs, recognition ceremonies, Stand Down, educational seminars and focus groups where women Veterans can provide input and feedback.
Preferred Experience: - Three (3) years of progressive experience with demonstrated knowledge and expertise in program administration is strongly recommended.
- Experience in women's health is desired.
