Salary is based on 40 hours a week, made up of 32 Hours gym floor with 8 hours of PT sessions. As your client base grows, you will drop your gym floor hours to maximise your PT earning potential of up to £36,612.16 OTE.

Whilst on probation all contracts will be a minimum of 24 gym floor hours, this is to ensure you earn a guaranteed minimum salary. Your earning will increase as you establish your PT clients and improve your earning potential.

PT sessions have a sliding scale, the more you deliver the more your take home earning potential is.

Providing follow up for patients to monitor the effect of any changes Review the use of medicines most commonly associated with unplanned hospital admissions and readmissions through audit and individual patient reviews. Put in place changes to reduce the prescribing of these medicines to high‐risk patient groups. To reconcile medicines following discharge from hospitals, intermediate care and into care homes, including identifying and rectifying unexplained changes and working with patients and community pharmacists to ensure patients receive the medicines they need post discharge. Set up and manage systems to ensure continuity of medicines supply to high‐risk groups of patients (e.g. those with medicine compliance aids or those in care homes). Ensure that patients are referred to the appropriate healthcare professional for the appropriate level of care within an appropriate period of time e.g. pathology results, common/minor ailments, acute conditions, long term condition reviews etc. Produce and implement a practice repeat Prescribing policy. Manage the repeat prescribing reauthorization process by reviewing patient requests for repeat prescriptions and reviewing medicines reaching review dates and flagging up those needing a review. Ensure patients have appropriate monitoring tests in place when required. Identification of cohorts of patients at high risk of harm from medicines through pre-prepared practice computer searches. This might include risks that are patient related, medicine related, or both. Contribute pharmaceutical advice for the development and implementation of new services that have medicinal components (e.g. advice on treatment pathways and patient information leaflets). Analyse, interpret and present medicines data to highlight issues and risks to support decision making. Undertake clinical audits of prescribing in areas directed by the GPs, feedback the results and implement changes in conjunction with the practice team. Implement changes to medicines that result from MHRA alerts, product withdrawal and other local and national guidance. Monitor Network prescribing against the local health economy’s RAG list and make recommendations to GPs for medicines that should be prescribed by hospital doctors (red drugs) or subject to shared care (amber drugs). Due to service expansion we are seeking an experienced, motivated and energetic individual to join our neurology service as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for Epilepsy. To be part of the team leading MKUH towards a higher level of clinical excellence and continually be part of improving service delivery for our patients.

opened in March 2020, this is co-located within the Cancer Centre building.

Take responsibility for the organisational management of service improvement projects or initiatives for the service, development of project plans, and delivery of aims and objectives of each individual project. Retain professional competence and credibility through continuous practice and education, providing expert advice where required, internal and external customers of the Trust. Education & Training To ensure new staff receive a full induction, and those in training positions have the necessary training provided to ensure they achieve the competencies required for the qualification for which they are studying. To identify training needs of managed staff so they are able to undertake their required roles. To evaluate the training provided. To identify own training needs. To maintain a portfolio of practice to fulfil the mandatory continuing professional development requirement of The General Pharmaceutical Council. Research and Audit To collect data for internal audits of dispensing, supply and procurement to provide good quality assurance. • Provide professional food safety, health & safety and related support to the operations team as required.
• Carry out visits to locations to offer support and complete audits to ensure locations are legally compliant as well as company policy compliant and following industry “Best Practice”.
• Review accident and incident reports to ensure the necessary corrective actions have been taken following an accident or near miss.
• Undertake accident, allergy incident and alleged food poisoning investigations, working to identify root causes, attending client meetings with operations where required.
• Support for developing, engaging and rolling out safety initiatives and information to meet the company’s expectations.
• Support the development of a strong safety culture across the contract.
• Support with online systems, to ensure compliance and raise maintenance tickets to support with location safety.
• Support in the management and review of third party and client audits.
• Prepare reports and present at meetings both internally and with the client.
• Attend Client meetings to offer sound advice and help ensure BaxterStorey policies & practices mesh with Client requirements.
• Work with the wider Food, Health & Safety Team to review and develop safety documentation, projects, training, and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate and Level 4 Food Safety (or willing to work towards)
• BSc or MSc in Environmental Health (desired)
• Must have full driving licence.

The children services consist of the following: Ward 4: Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU) Ward 4 is open 24 hour/day, has 16 PAU beds that flexes capacity to meet the ever-changing needs of our children. We offer access to expert, evidence based and family centred assessment, treatment, and care. Also includes Paediatric Day Care Unit. Paediatric Day Surgery Unit6 beds area open Monday to Friday, specific for day surgery cases, including dental, urology ENT, T&O, and ophthalmology. Supported by ward 4 senior staff, we provide care to children all ages, from pre-op assessment, supporting children and families from admission to discharge. Ward 5 Inpatient ward with 22 bed spaces, covering 0-16 years old, offering Medical, Surgical, Oncology and Orthopaedic experience. The Ward has dedicated High Dependency beds and offers every opportunity for the successful applicant to succeed and develop, providing the necessary training courses, which provide the skills and competencies to care for children on the high dependency pathway. Paediatric OutpatientsDelivers specialist clinics for children that require long, and short term follow up of care. We also work very closely with Neonatal Unit, and our Childrens Emergency Department, which is part of the emergency medicine division, opportunities might arise to rotate through all the areas within paediatrics.
