The post holder will undertake community nursing duties involving delivery of nursing services and holistic assessments of patients health needs using a person centred approach. To provide individualised and person centred care plans that provide monitoring and promotion of self-care to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions

• Act as the patient’s advocate and to facilitate the patient’s own choices with regard to nursing care, promoting independence and self-care, as appropriate.

You will be responsible for maintaining and signposting evaluations and trackers to existing recognised and offered support services and will attend regular meetings with the wellbeing team.

Therapies to be provided may include:

• Massage (Swedish/Holistic/Indian Head /Remedial)
• Energy Therapy (Reiki, Hands On, Crystal)
• Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Facial.

Your own mobile equipment will be required to create a therapeutic experience, and your own car will be required in order to transport you and your kit around to sites. The location of sites are national and occasional overnight stays may be required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Registration with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council)
• Completed an approved training scheme
• Current liability and indemnity insurance
• At least 1 years’ post- qualification experience
• Experience with a wide variety of complementary therapies
