Shifts on offer*: Monday to Sunday, Days 8am - 8pm, Nights 8pm to 8am
*Shifts Times are set times, but Monday to Sunday flexibility on offer depending on availability.
About the Role
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for a Healthcare Assistant within the Daventry, Northamptonshire area who can support a female service user in her mid 20s, who has Brain Injury, following a cardiac arrest and requires support with Tracheostomy, Diabetes with insulin protocol and other complex needs. She lives at home with her mum, which you will be able to build up key relationships to anyone else involved. Our Healthcare Assistant roles are considered more of a companionship role by building up key relationships and promoting independence through daily tasks for our service user within their own home and especially within the community, such as going on holiday with them.
She is non-verbal, so you will need to communicate with our services users and their next of kin effectively and appropriately, whilst also giving then the opportunity to communicate their needs as well.

Requirements for the Role
Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, we are looking for an outgoing bubbly candidate, who can show their best assets on providing the highest quality of support.
- A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
- Background knowledge and experience within complex care, but not a requirement.
- To provide the correct compliance documents including updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
