Job DescriptionNursery Room Leader - Toddler RoomHourly Rate: Up to £14.5040 hours per week The ideal candidate will be a confident and skilled professional with a proven ability to lead a team of nursery practitioners; They will be committed to creating a warm and fun environment that supports the growth and development of toddlers. The Nursery boasts an exceptional indoor play area and a beautiful outdoor garden, providing children with an enriching play space.
Qualifications - Level 3 in Early Years or above, demonstrating a strong foundation in early childhood education
- Extensive and verifiable experience working with toddlers in a nursery setting, showcasing deep understanding and proficiency in child-centred care
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving shared goals and standards of excellence
- Comprehensive understanding of child development principles and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, underpinning informed decision-making and practice
- Dedication to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusivity within the nursery, driving an environment that celebrates and respects individual differences

Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a team of nursery practitioners and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement a diverse range of age-appropriate and engaging activities and programs to promote the holistic development of toddlers
- Monitor and track children's progress and behaviour, maintaining detailed and accurate records to inform individualized care and support
- Foster open and effective communication with parents and families, building strong partnerships to ensure a collaborative approach to children's learning and wellbeing
- Prioritize and uphold the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children in the room, actively promoting a nurturing and respectful atmosphere
- Contribute proactively to the ongoing enhancement of the nursery environment and practices, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence
