The Recycling Assistant will be responsible for supporting our recycling program and ensuring that materials are properly sorted, processed, and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

Responsibilities
Sort and separate recyclable materials from non-recyclable waste
Operate recycling machinery and equipment, ensuring proper operation and maintenance

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with recycling guidelines and regulations
Educate and inform staff and visitors about proper recycling practices

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a recycling or waste management role is preferred
Knowledge of recycling processes, equipment, and materials

Requirements

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

What you’ll be doing:

As their Finance Assistant your responsibilities will include:

Creation and monitoring of client ledgers to ensure invoices are raised and paid
Assisting with payments of invoices to agencies
Ensuring that clients remain within their allocated budget
Dealing with enquiries from clients, their carers/agencies and the relevant Local Authorities
Maintaining client files to ensure accurate record keeping
Processing weekly payment runs in a timely manner to ensure care is not disrupted for clients
Production of reports for BACS payments
Working closely with Local Authorities to ensure contribution payments are met by the clients
Assisting with any other duties that or may arise from time to time
