Warehouse and Logistics Assistant

• Permanent Position
• Location: Saffron Walden, Essex
• Salary: £24,000 pa, plus excellent benefits

Job Overview:

Support the Stores Team Leader and report to the Supply Chain Manager in all warehouse and logistics activities, including:

• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders efficiently.
• Receiving, checking, labelling, and storing incoming deliveries.
• Conducting quality checks on incoming goods and manufactured products.
• Managing stock, including kanban replenishment and regular stock checks.
• Handling shipping documentation and using specialised equipment like pallet trucks.
• Maintaining warehouse organisation and safety, including building security.
• Assisting with building maintenance, product assembly, and packaging.
• Driving company vehicles for deliveries or collections as needed.
• Contributing to warehouse system improvements.

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word).
• Full, clean driving license.
• Warehouse experience and Quality Assurance knowledge are beneficial.
• Physically fit, reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude.

This role requires a hands-on approach and a willingness to support all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure smooth company operations.
