Job Purpose / Objectives:
• To effectively organise and manage people; machines and workflow to ensure that production plans are achieved, and customer requirements satisfied.
• To ensure that daily; weekly and monthly production targets are achieved across the Cell – as measured by Schedule Adherence and other KPIs.
• To maintain a Safe, Clean and Organised (6S) working environment by ensuring that all health, safety and 6S practices; policies and procedures are understood and adhered to.
Responsibilities:
• ‘Hands-on’ working cell leader role - able to programme; set; operate and troubleshoot each process within the cell.
• Production of parts within the cell – target of 80% of time producing parts.
• Prioritise and manage the order in which works orders are completed within the Cell, ensuring that Works Order due dates are achieved; production capacity is maximised, and Cell downtime is minimised.
• Lead daily ‘start of shift’ and ‘end of shift’ production plan and KPI meetings with all Cell team members (and support staff as required) monitor and manage Cell performance, and to identify and agree daily priorities with members of other Departments and work collectively to ship products to our customers by the required ship date.
• Promote and embed good standards of housekeeping; cleanliness and 6S across the cell to maintain a safe; clean and organised working environment always.
• Promote a team working environment across the Cell, and encourage and support continuous improvement activities to achieve identified improvements.
• Identify and resolve quality issues using daily scrap walks and root cause analysis in order to reduce scrap, non-conformance and rework.
• Work closely with Production Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure optimal running of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Recruitment and training of team members, ensuring that team members are trained to a defined standard and are competent to perform their duties at both quality and output standards as identified by the skills matrix for each operator. Manage holidays; time keeping; grievances and discipline across the team (with support from HR) to ensure that manpower is always in place to deliver the production plan.
• Ensure that daily shopfloor work booking, and route card disciplines are instilled into the team’s daily activities.

• You will be leading and supporting a team of merchandisers and replenishers carrying out tasks required by the client.
• Communicate with management on progress and end of project sign off.
• Carry out health and safety inductions and checks.
• Shift lengths are generally 12 hours, days and nights (predominately nights). Access to available assignments will be on your smartphone via our Field Power platform where you can set your availability and accept shifts.
• You will be required to clock in and out using your smart phone via our RAS Dashboard.
• Work will be carried out on different retail customer sites / stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
• You will be required to carry out the following:

• Removing and replacing stock with the use of client plans and systems.
• Adjusting shelf heights.
• Moving stock from the warehouse onto the shop floor, with use of roll cages and pallet trucks.

Stock replenishment. Travelling will be involved when local work is not available. Accommodation will be provided when required to stay away.

Desirable Qualities:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to make decisions and prioritise.
• Previous experience in Merchandising, Retail Supervision or managing people.
• Methodical approach and keen attention to detail.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting will be involved.
• Problem solving and a 'can do' attitude.
• Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and during the night when required. As a result, we can only accept applicants 18 years and over.

Senior Facilities Manager - Electrical
Working hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
Location: Coventry

As the Senior Facilities Manager - Electrical at University Hospital, Coventry and the Hospital of St Cross, Rugby, you will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of FM technical services in an acute healthcare environment. You will oversee the day-to-day leadership of the on-site electrical workforce and act as the primary point of contact for addressing operational challenges relating to electrical matters.

You will be acting as a primary escalation point for all electrical operational challenges, addressing and resolving issues promptly and effectively. The Senior Facilities Manager will support the Head of Operations to ensure you deliver the required contractual obligations from a technical perspective. What you'll need to succeed

• Knowledge / understanding of engineering systems within a healthcare building
• You will have excellent organisational and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Ideally, you will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field e.g. Building Service.
• You will ideally be qualified for 18th edition electrical and 2391 inspection and testing.
