Hybrid working with a mixture of being office based, working from home and visiting clients & sites
Sectors: Leisure, Retail, Commercial
Fit Out, Refurbishment, Facilities Management, Fast Track
Projects include Hotels, Leisure Parks, Fast Food Restaurants, Office fit outs
Project Values: £100K-£3M
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 plus £5,000 car allowance, pension, annual leave, private healthcare, fuel card, expenses paid for.
Start date: January/February 2023
Interviews to be held first week of January 2024
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Obtaining a comprehensive understanding of the customers requirements
* Understand project specific timelines, process, responsibilities and contract terms and deliver the project(s) accordingly
* Identify and eliminate any projects risks
* Identify and implement any project opportunities for improvement
* Manage the production of Health & Safety and Environmental information from Pre-Contract, through the construction phase and post contract
* Manage the development of the project design to the correct level of detail and timelines
* Work with the customer, their PQS, our QS or Estimator to develop commercial information in order to prepare a compelling proposal, receive instruction to proceed, procure all resources to deliver the project, maintain ongoing project costs through delivery to final account
* Liaise with all suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure a full understanding of their responsibilities and requirements
* Produce a comprehensive project plan including timelines for all tasks within pre-site, the site build and post contract
* Attend all meetings with customers and other stakeholders as required from pre-site, through site build to post contract
* Manage the production of reporting information as dictated within the company process/systems and the customers requirements
* Monitor all site works to ensure compliance with H&S, quality, Programme and costs
* Pro-actively manage the closing out of any defects
* Work with the QS to agree customer and sub-contractor final accounts
* Attend regular business wide planning meetings and report progress, risks and opportunities
* Attend training as and when required by the company and maintain levels of qualification
Qualifications required:
SMSTS or SSSTS
CSCS (Black)
First Aid at Work
NVQ Level 6 (Desirable)
HND Construction Management (Desirable)
NEBOSH (Desirable)
IOSH (Desirable)
Asbestos Awareness (Desirable)
Candidate Requirements:
Must live within the Midlands or a commutable distance to Bedford
Happy to travel nationwide UK
Well rounded background across various construction fit out sectors
Advanced knowledge & experience using Microsoft Projects
Must be computer literate
