We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Resilience Officer to join our dynamic team, focused on enhancing organizational resilience in the face of challenges and uncertainties. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of risk management, crisis response, and continuity planning, working diligently to implement strategies that fortify the organization against potential threats. As a Resilience Officer, you will play a pivotal role in assessing vulnerabilities, developing robust plans, and fostering a culture of preparedness among employees. Your expertise will drive initiatives aimed at minimizing disruption and ensuring swift recovery from incidents, thereby safeguarding our stakeholders and assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, local authorities, and external partners to establish frameworks that not only react to crises but also proactively identify risks and mitigate them. This position requires adept communication skills, as you will regularly engage with various departments and senior leadership to ensure alignment on resilience strategies. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of training and educating staff on resilience practices, enabling them to respond effectively in challenging situations. Responsibilities
Develop and implement resilience strategies and frameworks tailored to the organization's needs.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats to the organization.
Establish and maintain crisis management and business continuity plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Lead training sessions and workshops to enhance staff awareness and preparedness for potential risks and crises.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of resilience plans and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and incidents.
Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services to ensure collaborative response efforts during crises.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to communicate resilience strategies, outcomes, and improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public administration, business continuity, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, crisis management, or business continuity planning.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop actionable plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across departments and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management principles and tools.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in resilience and risk management.
Certification in emergency management or business continuity planning, such as CEM, CBCP, or similar, is highly desirable.

Pay Per Hour: £21.52
