Your new role
As the Communications Officer, you will coordinate communications for NWS, supporting the Community Engagement team and Operations portfolio. Your role ensures alignment with organisational activities, creating impactful content for local audiences. You will also support community forums to enhance the company's reputation.Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication plans.
- Lead the quarterly external newsletter.
- Manage the website and internal content.
- Foster community relations and public relations initiatives.
- Contribute to the electronic media calendar.
- Prepare presentations and coordinate media activities.
- Manage the image library and produce stakeholder materials
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant experience working in a communications role
- A strong understanding of the local/regional media and political landscape
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Experience of communicating complex messages to multiple stakeholders
Desirable
- Communications experience in the nuclear sector
