Your new role
In your new role in the school, you will be supporting KS3 and KS4 classes. You will be working alongside the class teacher to help deliver curriculum effectively, working 1:1 with SEN pupils and also taking some group work. This role starts in January.

What you'll need to succeed

Hays are supporting a Secondary School in Sefton. They require a motivated and experienced learning support assistant to support students across all year groups (KS3, KS4,). This is a long-term contract that will start as soon as possible and the school supports students with a variety of complex needs including ASD, non-verbal, downs syndrome, PDA and GLD.

Your new role
We are sourcing an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the school's SEN team. You will work with students who have a range of special educational needs, such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will provide 1:1 and classroom support, helping students to access the curriculum and develop their skills and confidence. You will also work closely with the SENCO and other staff to implement individual education plans and monitor progress.

What you'll need to succeed
- A minimum of Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
- Experience of working with SEN students in a secondary school setting
- Knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and relevant strategies and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - A positive and flexible attitude
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Your new role

This role is working with KS3 and KS4 pupils outside and inside the classroom. The role includes the following:

• Supporting the class teacher
• 1:1 and group work outside the classroom with pupils
• Small group interventions with Maths and English
• Behaviour management
• Supporting SEN pupils

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in the role, you must have a current DBS on the update service/be willing to apply for one as well as:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification/relevant qualification
• 1+ years experience within a secondary school (reference needed)
• Experience running small group interventions outside the classroom
• Experience supporting SEN pupils

An exciting opportunity for an HR & Learning & Development Advisor, 6 Month FTC, (which could lead to permanent)for an established Healthcare SME, in Bedfordshire. This will suit a proactive and experienced HR & Learning & Development Advisor who enjoys delivering face-to-face training. This hybrid role is based in Bedfordshire, with the flexibility of working from home two days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training & Development (60%):
• Develop and deliver face-to-face HR and leadership training sessions.
• Topics include appraisals, inductions, disciplinaries, grievances, navigating change, decision-making, and delegation.
• Employee Relations (40%):
• Manage end-to-end ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, performance management, maternity/paternity, flexible working and change management.

Travel Requirements:

• Travel to various locations, including Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Bedfordshire, Norfolk, Essex, and Lincolnshire, averaging 4 days' travel per month.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as an HR & L&D Advisor or HR Advisor who has a wealth of experience delivering face to face training on HR best practice.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and case management.
• Ideally qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above or equivalent.
• You must have a full clean driving licence and your own transport.
