Bangor University School of Health Sciences is offering an exciting opportunity for an aspiring or experienced passionate nursing lecturer to join our team committed to the delivery of high quality, evidence informed academic nursing programmes. The post will have a focus on the delivery of nurse education on medication management and pharmacology to pre-registration nurses at undergraduate level. We offer a diverse range of full and part time nursing programmes, which includes a distance learning programme.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of communications skills and physical examinations skills to students. Working across the College of Medicine and Health you will be responsible for leading the development, organisation and delivery of innovative approaches to simulated learning and clinical skills for all health programmes. As an expert practitioner, it is expected that you will have experience in running clinical simulations and supporting staff and students using your skills to create a safe learning environment based on sound pedagogical foundations to ensure our students have a first-class learning experience.
Candidates will have current professional registration (on the appropriate part of the register) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or Health and Care Professions Council. Candidates will also possess a degree in a relevant subject area.

- Develop Solar Radiation Pressure and drag tables based upon articulating models.
- Develop state-of-the-art Flight Dynamics telemetry monitoring and command generation tools.
- Interface with the Space Situational Awareness providers to ensure safe passage for orbiting craft and promote safe practice for all flight operations.
- Support real-time operations of the spacecraft including flight dynamics operations, manoeuvre planning, execution and assessment, relative orbit estimation and multi-object orbit determination.
- Support critical operations, including Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP), rendezvous, docking, separation and end-of-life.

Experience required by the Flight Dynamics Engineer:

- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, software engineering or relevant science discipline.
- Experience in spacecraft flight operations.
- Experience in programming (Matlab and Python desirable).
- Experience using Linux and scripting
- Education or experience in Mission Analysis

- Master’s degree in aerospace engineering or another relevant engineering/science discipline.
