What you'll do
The Data Product Manager drives the realisation of value for one or more Data Products by acting as an interface between business customers (business process owners, supply chain subject-matter experts and digital product owners) and technical teams to prioritise building what matters most to enable the strategic goals of the enterprise.
To be successful, you will need to have a deep understanding of AstraZeneca's Global Supply Chain processes. The role will involve and require experience of organising & project managing initiatives.

Typical Accountabilities:
* Support work to set the vision and strategy for data products across the Global Supply Chain, guided by a clear understanding of business value and customer needs.
* Translate business needs into requirements as input into the design, build and iteration of the data product.

3PS Demand Planners (DP) ensure supply of products that AZ has divested, yet continue to manufacture for our partners. This is achieved through proactively managing the transition and execution of order management and forecasting to our external customers with whom we have supply contracts with. It is the engine room of the third party supply organisation and critical to achieving excellent execution of our operational commitments. The DP is the point of contact between over 30 external customers and the relevant global supply network and functions.
The role sits within the 3PS and Business Development within GSC&S and is an excellent opportunity to join a recognised hard-working team gaining exposure to the end to end Global Supply Chain, presenting with Operations sites and a central point in the supply and demand process.
The role also enables individuals to represent 3PS in cross-functional projects and networks to gain a wider experience for personal growth and development. Demand Planners have a clear line of sight to the patient which enables the role holder to see the true impact of the supply of our products.
Key accountabilities:

• Co-ordinate SOTC (Sales-Order-To-Cash) and MAH (Marketing Authorisation Holder) transition to external customers and any associated pack changes
• Forecast demand management with validation of forecasts and corresponding Customer Purchase Orders in line with contractual agreements. Focus on the 3-24 month horizon

In order to deliver our Operations Data vision which assists the successful delivery of the 2030 strategy, the Operations Global Data Office Team are recruiting a Data Quality Assurance Analyst. You will have experience in both data management and data quality and have a proven track record working in a complex data environment.
You will play a key role in supporting the Data Office by creating data quality dashboards, to ensure adherence to data standards and data governance policies. You will work closely with the data stewards and business owners developing code written in SQL for monitoring and measuring the quality of data. You will support the remediation and cleansing of data.


Typical Accountabilities
* Develop and support the creation of data quality dashboards in Power BI, by extracting data from various Global SAP systems into Snowflake and developing rules for identifying DQ issues using MS SQL Server Management Studio.
* Writing and creating data quality rules using SQL and working extensively with business to define requirements to support continuous data quality monitoring.
* Provide extensive data analysis and profiling across a wide range of data objects.
* Reconcile data against source to ensure results are trustworthy and reliable.
* Strong focus on high levels of process automation, ensuring data and results are kept up to date.
* Facilitate matching or linking multiple data sources together and create complex joins to provide data discovery and continuous DQ monitoring.


Essential requirements
* Experience Developing and supporting the creation of data quality dashboards in Power BI.
* Demonstrated experience & subject matter expertise within data management disciplines, including the three pillars of data quality, data governance and data architecture.
* Advanced SQL skills to aid data analysis and data quality rule creation.
* Expert in extracting and manipulating data in various formats.
* Strong visualising experience, using Power BI or similar for monitoring and reporting data quality issues.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives.
* Experience in Snowflake or similar to data lakes.
* Strong desire to improve the quality of data and to identify the causes impacting good data quality.
* Experience of Business and IT partnering for the implementation of Data Quality KPIs and visualisations
* Experience of the following for data cleansing - Winshuttle, Aperture or Celonis for data process mining.
* Working within a lean environment and or knowledge of data governance methodologies and standards.

Your new role
Duties include;

• Support definition, maintenance and execution of the company's OHS policies and supporting systems.
• Optimise and validate industrial scale processes based on customer parameters using client's catalyst system.
• Co-ordinate technical development and support plans to deliver technology elements of customer adoption and licencing programmes.
• Define and lead in-house programmes to develop industrially relevant processes that optimise catalyst performance and benefits.
• Develop and validate process engineering options for effective purification and isolation of products created using client's technology at industrial scale.
• Collaborate with the technical team to define and execute programs aimed at establishing fundamental technology understanding, serving as a foundation for the commercialisation and licencing of proprietary technology.

• Develop own and update mass balancing and cost model for polymerisation process and comparison with existing customer processes.
• Lead development plant operational activities and continue to evolve the unit capability.
• Define the critical path for the adoption of a novel polymerisation process by customers and develop the necessary supporting data and tools to facilitate the implementation.
• Define and plan appropriate technical support for customer adoption programmes and train/coach selected team members to provide support.
• Project manage customer adoption programmes in conjunction with relevant parties.

What you'll need to succeed

• Chemical Engineering degree, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience of process safety studies, including hazard identification, HAZOPs, risk assessment and relevant mitigation strategies.
• Proficient in interpreting and analysing technical drawings (PFDs, P&IDs etc.).
• Proven commitment to safety culture with a willingness to speak up and address unsafe practices.
• Adept at communicating complex technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.
• Familiar with heat and mass balances, demonstrating an understanding of material dynamics to contribute to process optimisation and effective engineering solutions.
• Experience leading multi-functional technical teams, within an industrial environment, to transfer and scale processes for customer technology delivery.
• Capable of working autonomously, demonstrating self-reliance, when necessary, while also fostering effective teamwork, collaborating with the wider teams to achieve collective goals.
• Hands-on engagement across team activities, coupled with a pragmatic problem-solving approach, ensuring efficient and timely execution of tasks.
• Proven Project Management experience to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects to meet time, quality, and budgetary requirements.
• Motivated to proactively drive delivery of business objectives and personal development.
• Adaptable to ideas and change in rapidly evolving technology and business environment.
