We have an exciting opportunity for a professional, passionate and committed physiotherapy B4 technical instructor to join our adult musculoskeletal physiotherapy team in North East Essex. You will embrace innovation and integrated working and will be committed to following best practice to ensure patient-centred care, encouraging patients to self-manage their conditions and support registered clinicians in their day-to-day role. This will involve some administration duties alongside direct patient contact, both 1:1 and within group settings.

We are looking for people with experience working in a health or fitness environment. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication and health coaching skills.

You will need to be willing to travel across multiple sites in north east Essex to meet the needs of the service.

To work as part of the integrated team to deliver therapeutic input to patients in a clinic setting with the aim of returning them to maximum independent living, within a stimulating environment actively promoting self-management on all activities of daily living.

Work with colleagues across health, social care, mental health and voluntary sector to ensure holistic and joined up delivery of care.

Empower patients to make decisions about their own care and encourage them to exercise their rights and choices, signposting them to relevant community and voluntary services and supporting patient’s carers and assistants with management of risk.

Working with Physiotherapists and other members of the team, you will be an expected to lead exercises classes, hydrotherapy sessions (exercise in water) and see patients individually. You will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical skills and knowledge.

We are looking for a Band 3 QA/QC Assistant Technical Officer. This is a permanent full-time position based at Colchester Hospital however cross site working to Ipswich Hospital is essential as and when required.

You will support the Pharmacy Quality Assurance team in ensuring that the regulatory requirements and standards set by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) are met for the Manufacturing Specials, Clinical Trials and Wholesale dealing licenses held by the Trust.

About our Pharmacy Service

The main duties will include providing support and maintaining Quality Assurance functions within main pharmacy in line with procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements.

Assisting the QC/QA Officer with the running of the QA/QC Laboratory, such that an efficient system of workflow through the department is maintained, and safe working practices in the laboratory are adhered to.

Carrying out Microbiological Environmental Monitoring when required in line with schedule and non-routine monitoring when required for investigations/validation.

Assisting in the Microbiological/chemical/physical testing of samples i.e. water, raw materials, finished products, stability samples or new deliveries of media in accordance with approved specifications.

Assisting in the Microbiological testing of samples provided by internal or external customers in accordance with supplied specifications or limits.

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) are proud to be supporting the Networks across the East of England and are looking for a Network Business Support Manager to join us.

You will cover four diagnostic networks which are: Pathology, Imaging, Endoscopy and Physiological Sciences, each with a different geographical footprint. You will support the domain leads in developing and delivering the maturity matrix that are associated to each network. In this role you will also deputise for the programme manager when necessary.

The organisations within the networks are working together to enable effective collaboration between six Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and deliver a joint approach to support the implementation of the identified priorities for each network. They are breaking down barriers to deliver service improvements, reducing variation and sharing best practice. They are providing governance at a network level to oversee the design and delivery of the plans, undertaking a stock take of the assets across the system and mapping how services are currently delivered. This role will work with the Professional Leads and Speciality Leads.

This post is 37.5 hours per week to be worked across the working week Monday – Friday, some hours could be worked from home.

This post is fixed term until 31st March 2025. Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only, to be discussed with your line manager.

In this role you will work alongside the domain leads to help deliver the objectives of the networks and will need excellent communication and analytical skills. As a business support manager you will lead on the development, implementation, establishment and review of performance management systems in collaboration across the Networks.
