Overview of the role
Consulting business management:
Lead the professional services business not limited to achieving overall objectives and revenue goal of the division, but to ensure providing service levels to meet Japanese business needs locally, drive and deliver solutions for Treasury and have a keen mind to propel and support future business growth.
Details of the role
• Lead and grow the current professional services team to achieve business plans efficiently.
• Deploy consulting service that can obtain opportunities in the market.
• Build a relationship with FIS’s main departments, such as Offshore Delivery Team, Sales, Relationship Management, Product Management, and Business Unit Management, increasing the results of our professional services team via collaboration.
• Deliver professional services that is outstanding in the industry.
• Achieve our consulting business’s revenue objectives. Be responsible for profit and loss in the business, forecast and manage profit and loss, reporting business goals to head of professional services in APMEA
• Deliver solutions that ensures our clients are satisfied and become our strategic partner for a long time.
• Manage consultants. To be more precise, skill development, career development, task assignment, member’s performance evaluation, effective communication, quality of output and challenging status quo.
• While assigning resources with expertise that meet needs and maintain relationships with external partners, flexibly making use of resources at peak demand time.
• Effectively assign and develop resources in ongoing projects. Also, support Sales team and show leadership.
• In collaboration with other Practice Managers in APMEA, assign right person to right roles who meet priorities and needs, optimising goals for the entire division.
• Collaborate within FIS and our regional delivery partners to secure resources that meet business needs.
• Directly support Sales via entire sales cycle. In close cooperation with Sales and Account Management, obtain prospects. To be more precise, create quotes / SoW, price negotiation, project planning, presentation to prospects.
• Nurtures relationships. Defines consulting to support needs and demonstrate the initiative.
• Maintains quality client relationships to gain referrals for new opportunities.
• To travel 30% to 50% (or as needed).
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
People needed
• Experience of treasury management system implementation and professional services for corporates and/or banking and financial services is mandatory
• Leadership, management, and team building skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with C-level management, peers and others
• Broad knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial institution operations, and risk management
• Speaks and writes fluently in Japanese and English
• Listening skills and ability to ensure open and candid two-way communication
• Ability to separate and expresses facts and opinions clearly and concisely
• Project management, productivity, planning, and workload management skills.
• Negotiation skills regarding complex issues
• Ability to work well under pressure and keep emotions under control during difficult situations
