Key elements within the job description include: Operational Management of the Network Project Management Enabling Clinical Leadership Enabling Patient and Public Engagement Partnership and Cross-Boundary Working Promoting Equality and Reducing Inequalities The ability to work in a highly politically sensitive environment, and to establish strong credibility with senior clinical colleagues will be vital in this role. Demonstrable and substantial experience of working in a complex operational clinical network environment, with associated strong understanding of the value and potential of networks are a pre-requisite for this role. Additionally, good knowledge of head, neck and thyroid services, acquired through working experience of the services will be very valuable in the role, along with a strong working knowledge of NHS acute provider organisations across the East Midlands.
