Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our clients team. In this role, you will maintain and repair air conditioning systems, including split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps. Additionally, you may work on refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multideck units, or ice machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and specific refrigeration equipment.
- Complete all work-related documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain logs of inspections, reports, and remedial work.
- Participate in an On-Call rota.
- Perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Utilise a hand held computer device (PDA) for documentation and communication.
Candidate Requirements:
- Full, current driving licence.
- Experience in a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., FGAS & ODS regs, time-served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3/NVQ or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and solutions-focused.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
