The impact of COVID-19 on Health and Social Care services has been significant. Staff and organisations across Renfrewshire and beyond have made an invaluable contribution to supporting local residents and the vulnerable. The response to COVID-19 will continue for some time, however, Renfrewshire HSCP is now actively developing and implementing its plans for recovery and renewal, considering how we continue to enhance service provision but also how we as an organisation transform service delivery. An interim implementation model to support introduction of an electronic system within our care at home service is now required to support these plans.

To support this critical work, we are seeking System Schedulers, who will report to the Service Coordinator to implement an electronic system within care at home services. You will be responsible for the updating and maintaining of electronic systems, making decisions in relation to the deployment of frontline staff, as well as providing an efficient and effective first point of contact.

You will have a relevant SVQ Level 2 or professional qualification in administration or equivalent qualification. It is essential that you have proven experience of updating, managing and maintaining data through use of electronic systems. You will be customer focused as part of a fast moving, challenging, continually changing environment, which ensures that all care at home provision meets the individual needs of service users by maintaining an electronic system.

SVQ Level 3/HNC or professional qualification in administration or business equivalent and/or SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care are desirable.

The post is 30 hours per week, working a four on four off rota working a combination of early and back shifts.

Shift Pattern: 07:00-16:00 and 13:30-22:30.

You will be required to provide a Technical Technician service within the school servicing the Technology Department by ensuring that all equipment and materials required are properly prepared and available in a safe and functional condition.

An appropriate Technical based qualification at C&G/ONC/HNC level, or equivalent, is essential. In addition you should have experience in the care, use and maintenance of technical equipment and have an awareness of current health & safety practices.

There could be some flexibility in the distribution of the working hours both across the week and across a session to provide the optimum support to the school and to suit the successful candidate.

Renfrewshire Council are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their Environmental Health, Business Regulation Team. The role will involve assisting and supporting Environmental Health enforcement officers in the delivery of a range of regulatory and statutory services. These are aimed at protecting the public and the environment through monitoring, auditing, providing information and advice and formal enforcement.

It is expected that you will undertake the scheme of practical training required to attain the Scottish Food Safety Officer’s Registration Board Higher Certificate in Food Practice, to enable career progression to an Authorised Officer and carry out food law activities.

You should have effective communication, reporting, IT and interpersonal skills, an understanding and Knowledge of legislation and application of standards & guidance, The ability to relate to and deal effectively with the general public and partners and ability to ensure confidentiality when performing duties and meeting Data Protection requirements.

You must be able to work effectively within a team and as an individual, able to work under pressure with a track record in achieving time scales and targets and the ability to deal with and manage potentially confrontational and difficult situations.

You must have a flexible approach to work, be able to carry out the role with credibility and professionalism and have the ability to adapt quickly to any changes in legislation/guidance/working practices.

It is essential that you hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) in food technology/ food quality assurance management and or BSc (Hons) in food science or equivalent.

A current full driving licence is also essential.

Knowledge of how to apply relevant legislation to complex situations to ensure compliance is desirable.
